What a joke. Ariana is clearly very talented. Just because she doesn't "stay on key" to her own songs doesn't mean she's any less talented. Those vocals are still amazingly impressive.

The part about Katy is idiotic

Acting like she edits her live performances, then posting an example from Victoria's Secret which they edit every single live performance.

I can agree that her high notes have been flat and annoying lately but she still great.

That was their point. They were showing the difference between their pitched and unpitched voices. Did you watch the video? They did not pretend like Katy edited the live performances, but the fact is, the performance was edited.

However Ariana has talent, but that's not what this video is debunking.

I like the video. It's exactly how I feel when I see people praise Ariana as some sort of new Mariah. She's not. Not even close.

I think a lot of people already know this about her. You can easily tell with any of her live performances (at least that I have seen).

Ariana hopefully will improve - she's inconsistent.

Mariah's voice in her prime was superb, but I find it a little cringe worthy to say she has "perfect pitch" when NONE of her recent performances (and by recent I mean in YEARS) have proven that. Even in "good" performances she is extremely pitchy, often flat. Maybe she HAD perfect pitch.

Ariana is breathy and sometimes when she belts she just shouts outside of the key. We know she uses pitch corrector vocals (IheartRadio Album release, Ellen, 4th of July etc) at times but so does everybody else. Could an untalented singer do this?
