I dont watch Award shows unless Adele is there to perform or is nominated

She does but i dont like that song and i think everyone is saying Glory from Selma is going to win

Well we're movie/series buffs so

I like award shows i've always loved them tbh. Love the red carpet for the fashion the awards themselves etc i love them in general.

I haven't had time to watch all the movies tho I've seen not even a half This takes away so much excitement

CC, do you know when the red carpet starts? 1am for me/2am for you?

My thoughts exactly! I told my friend I wasn't watching them because it's not the same as when Adele was on it a few years ago, and she was like, "Adele was in a film?" and I was like, "No... She won the Best Original Song awards at the Golden Globes and Oscars two years ago for her James Bond theme, 'Skyfall'." Then we started talking about how successful Adele was and I just had to text her this:

"She's the queen of award shows! 10 Grammys, 4 Brit Awards, 13 Billboard Music Awards, a Golden Globe, and an Oscar! And those are just a few of her 95 total awards! One of the benefits of being an Adele fan is getting to rub her achievements in people's faces! Plus, I would like to add that she is an MBE, she has three number-one singles, a Diamond album, and her album 21 is the fourth best-selling album of all-time in the UK! Oh, and she is the only Bond theme singer to win an Oscar for their Bond theme!"

She hasn't replied yet.... Adele's perfection is a lot to take in, though, so it's understandable.

Haven't seen it yet, but I know it got not so great reviews.

Rooting for Gone Girl, The Imitation Game, Meryl and Julianne Moore tonight! Wouldn't mind Boyhood either. I will have a meltdown if The Grand Budapest Hotel wins anything tho, that movie's ****.

The trailer spoiled everything for me on Big Eyes and i might not even bither tbh ... Queen Julianne will snatch! Boyhood was good yeah but not all that imo The freaking Immitation Game is a big yes too

I haven't seen half of the movies nominated, to be honest..... I really hope "Yellow Flicker Beat" wins for Best Original Song, though. If Paul Epworth is there with Lorde because they're nominated, maybe he'll be asked about Adele! He won't say much, but I just want him to say something about her.... I'd love if he would confirm why she's in LA.

Oh yeah, I'm definitely going to finish by the Oscars, last exam on the 22nd and then I'm starting a movie marathon

I love the Grammys to a likely insane level, but beyond that I can usually take them or leave them depending on who's there.

Dev, I seem to be experiencing laptop issues, as well.... My laptop is literally cracked in two places. I can still use it, but I need to get it fixed. I'm really upset right now. I will try and have my votes in for the Adele Base Awards today or tomorrow; I shouldn't have waited this long to do them, but I've been so busy. I will do my best to get them in, though. I'm just praying to God that we can fix my laptop.

I'm not really much of a movie person so I usually don't watch The Golden Globes, Oscars, etc.
