No She Can't. Shakira is a WW Artist, Nelly too but only english, Shakira could make a russian song it would be a hit, people are used to new things from her.

Stick Up with English, portuguese people will make your album go 5 times platinium but don't expect any more country to do it.

I loved "Te Busque", but I dont think people will get too excited for it, just that.

Um, no. Nelly's voice is too boring for an album of this nature. Oral Fixation Vol. 1 is an excellent Spanish album, glad to own. But I just don't see this working for her.

Well... even though I would love to listen a new english album from her, I really excited with the portuguese album!!
It seems to me she's not desperated to make worldwide hits... she's just following her heart and her roots...
The album will be a new "Folklore"... with some fresh less-drama songs, I think... ... Well, no hits in the USA.... but I'm sure she will get good in the central and south european charts and in the latin american charts!

"La tortura" was not a huge hit....only in portuguese-spanish talking countries. In Portugal, it was a smashhhhh hit!!
"Macarena" and "Living la vida loca" were huge spanish-talking hits....

If the songs are hot and have good lyrics, I could care less if it's a different language.

"La Tortura" was a huge hit....it reached #23 in the US, #1 in many countries, and top five in many other countries.
