Not really a leak, but it's a part of the live action series for MKX. It has several characters announced including Bo Rai Cho, Scorpion with newcomers Takeda, Salazar, Ron Tan Cho, Kung Jin etc.
They may just be a part of the live action series and nothing more.

And just to bring this up, like I said in another forum, aside from Scorpion and SubZero, NO ONE IS SAFE FROM DEATH! They just permanently killed off Hsu Hao in the comic and I foresee several other 3D characters joining him as well. Even some 2D characters. It's like watching a tv show never knowing when you're fave will get the axe.
