Yes, someone threw a bag of cement into the crowd in one of her appearances and people had to be taken to the hospital (when cement is breathed in while in dust form it can be lethal).

Australia was her biggest market outside of the US for that era, going 5x Platinum, but she never returned to promote or tour afterwards and all her subsequent albums did much worse.
