So, after Britney's SMASH SUCCESS concert at Vegas selling out night after night and making the hotel tons of money, many females pop-acts (primarily those whose sales have dwindled at best or flatlined at worst) have been trying to secure their own Vegas residencies, such as J. Lo and Janet Jackson.
Did Britney start this trend? Or is there another reason for struggling (or over) female pop artists to be attempting to join her in Vegas after a year of SMASHING there? Discuss!
When Celine Dion booked a four-year stint at Caesars Palace in 2003, people thought she was crazy. Now everyone from Motley Crue to Britney Spears is following suit.
