Ring the alarm: Mike Huckabee is not a fan of Jay Z's big pimpin' lifestyle. The former Arkansas governor and 2008 Republican Presidential hopeful wrote about the rapper in his new book, God, Guns, Grits and Gravy — and he has some thoughts on Hova's relationship with wife Beyonce.
On Thursday, Jan. 8, U.S. News and World Report posted an excerpt from Huckabee's book in which he compares the couple's performance of "Drunk in Love" at the 2014 Grammys to watching "foreplay."
"My reaction: Why? Beyonce is incredibly talented — gifted, in fact. She has an exceptional set of pipes and can actually sing," he wrote of the superstar. "She is a terrific dancer — without the explicit moves best left for the privacy of her bedroom."
The Fox News host went on to question Jay's role in Bey's image, writing, "Jay Z is a very shrewd businessman, but I wonder: Does it occur to him that he is arguably crossing the line from husband to pimp by exploiting his wife as a sex object?"

Who is this? He seems like a control freak. Bey is not anyone's property so why does it seem like he's implying that she is and Jay should keep her in check? Bey wouldn't have done it if she didn't want to.
Kudos to him for knowing she's amazingly talented tho.

And I don't see it at all. I can see how he is trying to justify the role of a husband and how Jay - Z is not fitting*that role. But pimp? At least he knew what he was talking about
Yes, let's ignore Beyonce's agency. Let's pretend for a moment she isn't charge of her own career. Let's ignore the fact that she produces her own work and actually helps produce Jay-Z's (On The Run video/tour was a Parkwood co-production) work too. Let's just all just pretend like she's his little puppet and she isn't her own manager and Jay-Z pull all the strings. Because there's no way a woman could ever be in charge of her own career. Laughable right...

I think Beyoncé can decide on her own what she wants to do. But if I am completely honest, I will always wonder how she became physically attracted to Jay Z in the first place.....
