I just got confused because she changed completely from a boy to a girl. Usually in most cases, you can tell when a man used to be a woman or vice-versia. Especially when a female has a penis or a man has a vagina.

But she completely changed everything. She's a girl now, if someone told me she was a boy before I wouldn't believe it...just saying.

Yes. She was born as a male but felt like she should have been female.

She only started receiving the hormone replacement therapy at 12, so by 16 her body could be more ready for the actual surgery. Her body will still grow like a normal person's? I am not completely sure how the development of her external sexual organ is affected, other than that she still probably has no ovaries but now looks female.

I should have noted, transgenders can also get hormone replacement therapy, but their sexual organs remain the same. It is the sexual reassignment sugary/gender confirmation surgery/gender reassignment surgery that physically changes the person, which concerns transsexuals. I really am not that familiar with the terms but I tried. Please correct me when I am wrong.
