Movie: Batman v. Superman Part 1 in October?

They've certainly been shooting long enough for that to be the case, and while you may think it would be odd for them to have not announce Enter The Knight ten months before the release date stated below, how much have we seen of The Fantastic Four? (which is less than six months away)

This would actually be a great weekend for Batman v Superman: Enter The Knight to open too, as there's little to no serious competition during, before, or after that weekend. For now, take this with a pinch of salt; while it's nice to think that we'll get to see the Caped Crusader and Man of Steel battle it out in 2015 - the movie's original release year - it seems unlikely Warner Bros. wouldn't have announced this when they unveiled their slate of DC Comics movies last year...

Eh... I would love the film asap but idk about splitting it into 2 parts. If there is enough material for 2 good movies then release them on bluray, I'm fine with waiting till March of next year if the film is good. But then again, if both parts end up being good then bring it in.

Doubt this is true though but we'll see when Jupiter Ascending releases.

This would be great marketing strategy. After all the release date changes they bring it forward 6 months? It practically promotes it self. Also the trailer being released so early would make since. I'd be here for it.

But don't shoot yourself in the foot before you even start running, DC.

This would make sense because they have been filming for a long time so I'm sure they have enough footage for two films. I hope that this is legit tho because if not

Ehhh... Probably not for very long tbh. It got some serious competition with The Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy... all of whom I actually enjoy just as much as the The Dark Knight and all are critically acclaimed. Personally, I'd rather watch The Avengers.

The other DC movies suck though and except for Batman Returns, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight they have always sucked.

Yeah but it's acting (with an Oscar win), screenplay, cinematography, and realism (compared to other superhero movies) were praised. That's why its already ranked as one of the greatest moves ever. Marvels got the better track record tho!

Marvel (at least Disney's Marvel) has a good track record in terms of box office and "fun" movies but they have yet to release a truly great film besides probably Winter Soldier.
