At least one person has died in a massive pileup along I-94 near Galesburg, state police tell FOX 2.

The Michigan State Police post in Paw Paw also says several others have been injured in the pileup that occurred in near white-out conditions.

Police estimate nearly 100 vehicles are involved. They say about 70 vehicles are piled up in the westbound lane, and about 20 vehicles are in the eastbound lane. EMS and police are on scene to help get stranded drivers out of their vehicles.

John Rudolph, a truck driver from Ypsilanti, drives Michigan roads often and says these are "some of the worst" conditions he's seen.

It's kind of a miracle only one dided tbh

I wish people would heade the warnings given out. These would be much smaller and less common if people stayed off the roads during these conditions.

Emergency situations are completely different, but I doubt the people driving were for emergencies

This is why I hate being out on the road, ESPECIALLY in bad weather conditions. Try to avoid being outside at all costs.

Thank GOD so far only 1 died...that's amazing for a 90-car pileup. Praying for the rest
