Eyelashes DO grow back. I think they just take really long.

I'm asian and as you know, asian girls have the shortest lashes ever (hence, why every asian girls wear fake lashes). However, my best friend's lashes (asian) are so long that they look fake. She said her mom (who is in the beauty industry) would cut her lashes when she was a baby, and now they're super long and thick.

omg this happened to me when I was like 8 except it was like 5 eyelashes. I stole one of my mom's stray surgical clamps that were hanging around and attached it to my eyelashes to see what my eyeball looked like. The clamp wouldn't unclamp and I had to rip them off

Hair growth speed is determined by genetics, not by how often the hair is cut. Still, you're right, this girl will be eyelash-less for months. Poor chile.
