Unfortunately, we don't live in a world where every parent will raise their kids to be good people, or where no person will ever snap and lash out. Sure, that would be great, but that's just not happening.

Realistically speaking, how do you prevent that? You can't make it so that no one ever hits anybody.

All you can do is express disapproval and disappointment, bring justice against them, and try to rehabilitate them.
