if i knew it would be this hard i would have had applied sooner , going through this process has made me esp annoyed at people who got their jobs through nepotism (< through a friend/family instead of going through the regular process)

its hard to get one unless you're trying for a minimum wage job if you don't have a college degree

I've only had one job and it was at a grocery store near my house and they accepted me right after I did my first interview with them so it wasn't difficult for me at all

Depends on the field and what area you're in. As well as your experience, grades, etc.

I got my first job (which I'm still at 10 months later) the first time I applied.
It's mostly down to how good your local economy is. Even then, luck.

damm even with a degree ? i know my sisters friend who came out with a business degree and still it took her 6 months

I got my first job, which I've had for almost 2 years this February, a year after I graduated high school its hard getting one but once you get one you should stay there a while to get experience so it can get easier getting a different job

if its for a mimimum wage thing. I usually get the job 100% if they give me the chance to do an interview. if its a high end job(well as high end as u can get at 18 lol) i usually need to work a bit harder but i still always get the job if they give my resume a look and give me the chance to do an interview. with me its all about the interview phase. thats why my resume and lettter are strong. I worked hard on making them look impressive. cuz thats the tricky part..its the resume. if there is nothing that POPS to them they will just toss it out

I plan on getting an offer before I graduate but there's obv no guarantee. As long as you're qualified, you're bound to get something if you apply over and over

My first job I literally put it in a like 2 am on a Saturday, at 5 o clock that same Saturday evening my mom came like "did you put in an app for Pizza Hut cause they're on the phone" I thought she was kidding but she wasn't..when I got the job I told everyone to apply

Very easy. I still had to apply, interview and do the tests, but my dad helped me get my job as he worked at the organisation already, and had done for 25+ years.

There are so many factors like location, experience, etc. Even with basic minimum wage jobs.

The best way to find ANY job is to not be picky, though.

it's very hard when you don't have experience, but having experience makes it easier. it's definitely still really difficult, though, especially when you're still in education.
