I'm concerned as well. Sochi and Rio are the costliest Winter and Summer Olympics in history, and it has been proven that venues built specifically for the Olympics are often never used again. Unlike what the IOC says, the Games don't seem to economically benefit a region, just garner buzz about it for a few months.
However, I do think that the density of our city and the amount of existing venues we have could hopefully minimize the economic impact a potential Games would have here.
