Why are you disgusted? She didn't necessarily say that he did it or not. In fact she put the women and the accusations aside and discussed his treatment in the media. She said his treatment within the media is as if he's already guilty. And she's right. All the man's contracts were cancelled all from accusations. He hasn't even been taken to court yet

I get having invested so much time in this show and with him is causing this kind of gut reaction on her part. But the fact that it's clouding her judgment to the degree that she insists NO ONE in the 20+ women that have come forward is telling the truth needs to be fought vigorously.

Maybe I'm missing something in this article. But where does it say that?

Even though I'm inclined to believe some of the victims personally, she's right. The media has bashed him and his name based on accusations and accusations alone. They even removed the Cosby Show from airing on some stations because of this scandal, which not only effects Bill but the whole cast including her.

Remind you, none of these accusations are proven true. This is basically piggybacking off of what Whoopi has been trying to get across.

Hasn't the Statute of Limitations run out?

She's completely right, the situation is rather sad.

This man was long hailed as an American TV hero, and he's leaving as a rapist due to some 20-40 year old claims. She's not defending him, it's just a really sad situation to have to leave this world like this.

But until proven, these allegations are just allegations and they probably will remain that way until the end of his life. The delayed claims will likely do nothing muddy his accomplishments, not get him any time or punishment.

She didnt say it outright, but she thinks some of these "accusations" are suspect at best, and I agree. Some of them even have gaping holes in their stories. But hey, the media loves a good story, so here ya go.

Rape is inexcusable, regardless of rank in society. You just can't "forget" 30+ rape victims and make it about black culture. It's NOT.

Bill is innocent until proven Guilty only him, god and the supposed victims know what really happened.

I mean, as disgusting as this, of course she is going to defend her legacy with The Cosby Show. It's what made her nationally known and she's done several other shows with Cosby as well.

Until a single court document is filled, these are just accusations. Accusations with no bearing shouldn't be allowed to remove Bill Cosby's legacy. No matter what happened, he still did so much good in his life. Nobody is perfect and this is just the perfect example of this. Take the good and the bad, not just the bad and erase all the good from society. How silly.

This is like saying the CEO of Apple goes out and murders three people. Are we going to erase his accomplishments? Is everyone going suddenly stop using iPhones? Not really. He still provided a game changing product and gave so much of his fortune to good causes. We might shun him but people can't take away the good he did because the effect is already there.

There's two sides to every coin, just some sides are dirtier than others.
