Having sold 4.1 million PS4 units during the 2014 holiday season, the PlayStation 4 is off to a stronger start than ever projected, just over one year after launch. In pairing with these consoles, Sony also notes that 81.8 million games have been sold for the PS4 since launch, averaging nearly 4 and a half games sold per console. These figures include both disk and digital sales for Sony.
Sony is way too far ahead at this point, and without having to push itself $150 cheaper in only one year.
