Another masterpiece from queen Jolin's Magnum Opus!
Gentlewomen is the opener to her latest studio album "PLAY", and although It doesn't really set the right mood for the album considering PLAY is the track after it and is the complete opposite of it sonically, it's still a great opening track that get you hyped for the album i mean i got chills the first time I heard it, it's the horns of heaven have been blown and the rapture that is Jolin's slayage has been casted upon the earth ddddd. Though I'm still confused on the songs meaning the music video for it slayed with queen breaking boundaries in Taiwan again with gender bending themes so im assuming it has to do with self acceptance etc.
Also that broken string breakdown is EVERYTHING
One of 2014's breakout artist for me, E-Legends didn't have me stanning for them like my name was RafaelBuzz until they released this masterpiece of an euphoric bopping anthem. Before RYDEEN I found them okay and only used them for their cute bops but then they dropped this holy hymn and snatched me to my grave by serving me an exotic smash along with amazing choreo and a flawless video that's so stunning, ugh they better keep on with the sexy sound and visuals in 2015
One of my favorite gems from The New Classic which is ironic considering it was like one of my least favorite when the album first came out asdkljsd. The song has such a nolgastic vibe to it and the instrumental is so mellow like it's almost like listening to the sun set. Iggy also delivered some fire with her verses
This was such a unexpected collab but so was the slayage the came with it, personally I think Shaki & Rhi's voices work well with each other especially over such a tropical island track, they just ooze sex from the audio alone! The video is also stunning just because they both look amazing, the visual slayage is just ugh. I probably could of placed this higher on my list listening to it again now but oh well
Gwenth her long awaited comeback finally became a reality this year when she released promo single Baby Don't Lie. Although it was like a complete 180 of what I expected her to release after such a long hiatus as a soloist BDL still managed to slay me serving Namie Amuro "La La La" realness. The song is so chill and addictive it reminds me of summer and the beach. Also I really liked the video for the song despite it being a complete 240p mess
This song is so cute and uplifting but sad at the same time I can't at this masterpiece getting the Bonus Track treatment, should of been on a regular edition of the album and a single cause it's a smash in the making. Iggys more slower tracks seem to be where she really shines for me
Another masterpiece off My Everything, everything about One Last Time is perfect from the mellow verses to the heartfelt explosion of the chorus. Ariana really knows how to pull at those heart strings
