I'm a typical Libra because I always try so hard to please people and make them happy. I like being funny, putting on a show and entertaining in any way. I'm also extremely thoughtful with my jokes, and tell them to make people think, only smart people can understand my wit. I observe everything and watch what everyone is doing so I can project my own image/idea into society and be influential. Us Libras are also gifted manipulators, but it's usually to try and get on the good side of people and build relationships. We inspect people and strategically make them like us, by figuring out how they react to us and strange things we do. We are also gifted in the arts, whether we can draw, sing, write, be poetic, act and just love in general. We sometimes wear our heart on our sleeve, or not at all. We are also very balanced and like to ensure everything is fair, but at the same time like to act and pretend for entertainment.
However, sometimes when we fight for our identity and self worth, we get lost in trying to prove ourselves to other people. We need to know that we are worthy so seek recognition from others. We are easily hurt by giving too much of ourselves and getting nothing in return, so we need to learn to fill ourselves rather than be completely selfless. This can also turn into vanity because we think so highly of our image and beauty that we are desperate to be told we are attractive. We hate confrontation and voicing opinions, and just want everything to go peacefully and smoothly, so sometimes we have to compromise ourselves for that. Our aim of pleasing everyone and evening things out can cause us to lie a lot to avoid drama, which can affect our relationships with people. Because we are so curious and want to hear each side of stories, we put our nose where it doesn't belong in people's situations, and over analyse so they can fully understand. Our fear of saying 'no' and hurting people can also make things hard for us, because we end up not attending events and doing things that we previously say we will do. We go to extreme measures to avoid conflict, that people end up taking advantage of us and seeing us as pushovers.

The biggest misconception with Libras though is that we are very balanced. That's just simply not true. We strive for balance, but we're not naturally balanced. In fact, Libras can sometimes be some of the most unbalanced people you'll ever meet. It's because Libra is a complex sign that is represented by the scales. If you picture a pair of scales, rarely are both sides perfectly balanced. Things need to be just right for that middling state of equilibrium to be achieved. On the flip side, it's very easy for scales to get off balance. The slightest adjustments and stimuli can quickly and easily disrupt the sensitive balancing act of the scales. So that all correlates to the Libra sun person, who is more often unbalanced in some form or another than perfectly even-keeled.
