Anyways, I understand the role of tattoos in modern western culture, that's not what my post is about. It's just fascinating how their negative connotations are so arbitrary. There have been many societies where face tattoos are encouraged or respected. It really is just a bunch of ink, the negative connotations are construed by context. This guy got the short end of the stick this time

Ultimately, it reflects his poor choice of friends, his poor lack of reasoning skills by not wearing makeup. Your employees are the face of the company and having an employee with that disaster of a tattoo is simply not good for business.

It's his fault and I don't feel sorry for him. What kind of idiot tries to use a cheese grater to get rid of ink on their skin? It's not that big of a deal, all you have to do is wear some concealer.

I'm sorry but even at my most wasted I would never let somebody near me with a jimmy rigged tattoo gun. Stupid all around. At the very least in 5 years he could have found some work. Like telephone or deliver phone books or newspapers. There are a lot of jobs where you don't come face to face with people.

But this cheese grater thing makes me think his bus is a few rows shorter than normal
