"More recently, though, with a new album on the horizon, Madonna’s social accounts have become a hashtag-strewn, meme-littered jamboree of misfires through which the image Madonna spent three decades refining has begun to unravel."

"Madonna has admitted her own kids are effectively A&Ring the sonic direction of her new album."

"Madonna, pop music's most brilliant control freak is out of control. Rather than asking "what the **** do you think you are doing?" and windmilling her way into a fight, she played the role of a victim."

"Madonna's social media missives didnt bring much anger, instead the response was a global, rather weary social media eyeroll."

"Many of Madonna’s fans, who once had revelled in the star’s ability to make an older generation huff, tut and shake its collective head, have now turned into their own parents: they’re not angry with Madonna, just disappointed. And it is slightly heartbreaking that Madonna, an artist who made her name through an intuitive grasp of almost every major trend and zeitgeist fluctuation, is so crap at social media."
Its interesting that you left out the mentions of her redord breaking web cast, her groundbreaking american life ******* combating and the fact her new music is good but, that's okay I'm not surprised.
The writer of this article also assumes that Madonna wasn't doing it on purpose - i suppose one if free to assume what they want.
In addition, the only people that were offended of collectively eye rolled were the same people that didn't understand the concept of the cover and the reason why the string was placed over the faces - which ia fine. Not everyone has the capability of understanding artistic concepts, not everyone's able to look at something and get it, right away.
I also love how the writer makes a joke about a parody account that refrences her kids. Those are her kids man. Is nothing off limits to journalists? You know it's a quality article when the majority of the anti Madonna stuff is based on assumption + making fun of what her children might think. YIKES!
I agree that she could keep her messy instawire posts for herself, but I don't see the problem with her asking her children what sound they want for her album. If I had children, I'd do the same.
