Azealia on The Talk

While continuing her promotional run of Metamorph as well as the pre-order of The Dying Stars, Azealia Banks appeared on The Talk today to perform the song as well as to be interviewed by the girls on the hit CBS talk show. Azealia's commercial for Target as well as for the Metamorph on iTunes and The Dying Stars for pre-order played over five times while the interview took place. After the appearance on the show, Azealia's single Metamorph raised up to the top position on iTunes, along with this the sales of Metamorph increased significantly helping giving it an even larger gain on the songs below it. When she landed in the beautiful city of Los Angeles, Azealia was hunted down by the paparazzi who wanted to know more and more about the romantic relationship her and ex-label mate Junglepussy had. Azealia responded to the paps by saying "What I do with my vagina is my business! Get out of my romantic life!"
The performance for Azealia was an overall hit. She was seen wearing a beige Valentino trouser suit from Valentino's upcoming 2016 collection. The outfit was heavily praised by Vogue as a true and modern fashionista's essential look. Along with the suit, Azealia wore a large matching floppy sun hat and 6 inch black stilettos. At the beginning of the performance Azealia turned around dramatically and threw her hat into the audience, causing some fan to go into heart failure, leading to an ambulance arriving during the commercial break. Azealia sang beautifully throughout the entirety of the performance, according to Rolling Stone. She had no dancers on stage with her, just herself and her own dance moves that it seemed she came up with on the spot. Slightly mess, yet fun. The performance was unplanned and unorganized yet it still impacted everyone in the room by the sound of Azealia's voice. After a standing ovation from the fans (except the one that had a heart attack. Please pray for him, he's not looking too well), a commercial break came (that advertised Metamorph on iTunes, of course) and Azealia was in the hot seat, ready to be interviewed. One question that had all of the internet buzzing was when Azealia was asked about if she and Junglepussy ever thought of having kids. Azealia responded to this by saying "Never crossed my mind. I am still so young and I was even younger then. You really think I'm ready for kids? HA no." When asked about the music video with Janet, Azealia said "We filmed it last week while I was in New York. It's completely insane and I think it will be a big hit. We plan to premiere the video after my performance on The Voice that night. You guys better get ready!" After the interview, Azealia hugged the hosts and they revealed that everyone in the audience would go home with a copy of Metamorph and both of its remix EPs.
After the performance, everyone was talking. Azealia uploaded it onto her YouTube account where it has gained even greater attention. Everyone is talking about how her voice was so good throughout the entirety. An evident after effect of the outstanding performance was apparent on iTunes. Be sure to buy Metamorph today as well as pre-order The Dying Stars.

The David Letterman show welcomed Justin Bieber as their special guest tonight, and had a pleasant interview with the Pop Artist. They discussed his new album 'The Collection & More', along with things such as the newly released today music video 'Memphis' featuring Big Sean. Justin Bieber had previously been interviewed + performed on a TRL special a few hours earlier in New York. Now sitting down for a more calm spot on TV, and refreshing over what'd he previously done today. 'So, what was the whole deal behind this MTV + TRL special you did today?' Letterman asked Bieber after announcing his new album 'The Collection & More' was in stores. Justin replied, 'It was on my videos in my career. As we know, MTV is a Music Video network and such -- and they'd thought it'd be great to honor me on TRL, a show which use to show the top music videos of the time it was on air, with a TRL Special. I also got to perform, and premiere my newest music video'. Justin's new music video to 'Memphis' was released hours earlier, with already views over 5 million and becoming the top viewed video of the day on YouTube. 'So, this video I've heard about, why is it talked about so much?', 'Well, I'd think it's one of my best. Besides the huge special supporting it, the plot and everything was very well thought out. It also cost a lot to make, and I really showed off my acting skills. Plus, I shot someone' he said as the audience laughed. Letterman then got around to asking him, 'So this music video was moreso you practicing your acting in a big way. Any big upcoming roles?' to which he quickly replied 'No, not as of now. I'm trying to finish this whole album process + touring before I get back into movies. Movies are such a long process, and doing so with music can be crazy. I learned that with 'Fast Times at University' and working between music and movies being so much'. Justin also caught up with Letterman on his personal life, including talking about what he does in the freetime, plus what he does on dates and such with current fiance Vanessa Hudgens. In the middle of the interview, Letterman also took out his iPad and searched the 'Memphis' video on YouTube to where he had a live reaction to watching parts of it. The audience was laughing and was pleased by Justin's appearance on Letterman. Justin also talked about the new performance he did on the TRL Special, saying 'The only thing I was thinking after it was finished was...where the HELL is a drink? I was out of breath. I had to run down the streets of Times Square, get into the building, and on the TRL floor. All while dancing and singing. I'd like to know how many people can do that' he replied jokingly. Overall, Justin's appearance on Letterman was successful and more promotion for his new era + new music video, in which had been trending on Twitter all night. David took to Twitter after to write, 'Interviewed Justin Bieber today. Nice kid who can dance his ass off while running'.

CLARE BOWEN
"BLACK ROSES"
Artist: Clare Bowen
Title: Black Roses
Release: January 5th, 2015
Genre: Country
Written: Lucy Schwartz
After months and months of anticipation and reworking her debut album, Clare Bowen has finally released her debut single with Revolution Records, "Black Roses". Track #13 on the album, "Black Roses" is a piano ballad, with little zests of percussion and a completely raw, fresh vocal. The subject of the song is mainly focused on love, and a "tumultuous" relationship; however, the kind of love can be interpreted and utilized in multiple scenarios. In Nashville, Clare sings this song as empowerment, to express her thoughts on her damaged relationship with her mother; but clearly, the song describes a romance. "Black Roses" is currently the #1 best-selling Nashville song on iTunes, and a critically acclaimed piece, which made perfect for a crossover on Bowen's album to debut with. "We knew instantly that Black Roses was going to be the lead single. It's my favorite song I've recorded so far, and it comes from a place I definitely connect with- as well as many other people. It was a fan-favorite and my favorite, which was the most important thing," Bowen stated whiling releasing the single. Her long-awaited self-titled debut LP will be released through Revolution Records this quarter- although no release date has been set in stone just yet. The single is available for purchase and streaming now.

TAYLOR SWIFT X EXCLUSIVE VEVO CONTENT

Taylor Swift has been one of the busiest artists in the music industry as of late (and always has been). The singer-songwriter has managed to record a brand new album and brad new material for her latest release, her first ever compilation album and first ever greatest hits album that is titled ‘Yours: The Greatest Hits’. We learned from Taylor Swift in an interview that the album was a last minute idea. For exact words, Taylor said this, “I was really sort of stuck in a hard place when I was making the album. I don’t mean this personally but business wise. I didn’t know if the album I’d been making at the time, ‘Young Heartache’, was really ready for release or in general ready for the world. I’ve spent so much time trying to perfect this record and at the time I decided it wasn’t ready. So I did what the second best thing to do was release a Greatest Hits album. I wanted it to be different than your usual greatest hits album. I wanted it to be personal. I wanted me, the artist to have the most input in it rather than just the label shoving tracks on it with two new songs then pushing it out for people to buy. I wanted it to have an actual campaign and as you can see, I’m doing just that. So here we are in my first ever greatest hits era, the ‘Yours’ Era.
The era has already taken off to a great start, the lead single from the album ‘Style’, a Max Martin produced track, leaped to number one in it’s first week, making it Taylor Swift’s ninth overall number one and her fourteenth top three overall too. Promotion has kicked in for a second week as the album’s been officially release stateside as a Target exclusive and in other global markets as an iTunes exclusive with special availability physically from Taylor’s online website/merchandise store.
The music video for ‘Style’ was released earlier last week and managed to draw in over one hundred million views in it’s first week, making it one of the fastest viewed videos of all time on YouTube and on VEVO. Taylor Swift’s VEVO/YouTube channel would get more activity as music videos would be uploaded to her channel for the promotional singles off ‘Yours: The Greatest Hits’. Those music videos were for ‘Lipstick on His Collar’ and ‘Harvard Smiles’.
The music video for ‘Lipstick on His Collar’ featured Taylor in hotel bedroom, an expensive suite as she lays on the bed in black lace panties and in an oversized collar ****, obviously belonging to a male. She sings seductively in bed for the first verse, having flashbacks in black and white of her and her lover in the bed getting ready to make love. Her love interest played by Gun Lee, a male model of Asian heritage. It features the two making love before Taylor’s sitting alone on her bed as the man is seen entering the hotel of another woman. He walks up to the other girl with a smirk on his face before he kisses her. The girls lips move to his collar where she clutches his collar which is stained with lipstick.
The music video for ‘Harvard Smiles’ would be a little more stripped down. It would show Taylor walking in a very 90s vintage female bad girl type attired, Taylor’s long hair and bangs returning for the video as she wears denim high wasted jeans with a white tank top with a leather jacket. Her lips are tainted soft pink as she walks down a Los Angles street. She’s seen in various locations during the night with friends at bars having fun and flirting with many boys, many which are well known as actors/models. The video’s filmed almost with a vintage effect, with selective coloring and such, being really random and all over the place but very visually simulating.
Taylor Swift’s greatest hits album ‘Yours: The Greatest Hits’ is out now.

Lauren Rosario

Today, it’s just been revealed that last month while Selena Gomez was in Paris, her movie “Lauren Rosario” made it out of the production stage. Warner Brothers Pictures has decided to distribute the film and back in December, they had a very important (but secret) day for the film. Here’s the scoop: Warner Brothers Pictures charted several private jets in cities around the world for journalists and press people and flew them all too Europe. A private estate in Cannes, France to be exact. It was a press conference of sorts. People from IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes, Us Weekly, People, Vogue, Vogue UK, Vogue Australia, Vogue Paris, Vogue Italia, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, W, V, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, The Hollywood Reporter and almost every other big publication were all at this Cannes estate. They weren’t told who would be speaking to them, just that two big stars had a film announcement. Alas, it was Meryl Streep and Selena Gomez. They were there to talk “Lauren Rosario” and answer some questions for the press. “Lauren Rosario” was announced in March of 2014 and is being released January 6th. Selena portrays Lauren in the film, an extremely famous socialite, model and paparazzi magnet daughter of a New York politician and and a former super model who is on the verge of mental breakdown and runs away to Italy. Meryl portrays Gillian, the life coach Lauren hires to watch over her in Italy and give her guidance. Other cast members include Demi Moore as Lauren’s mother, George Clooney as Lauren’s father and Cam Gigandet as Selena’s on and off again boyfriend. One reporter asked when the film started shooting to which Selena replied “January of 2014 to April of 2014, so pretty quickly. But we spent a lot of time filming during those four months.” David O'Russel was also in attendance at the event, where it was announced that he would serve as the director. O'Russel has previously worked with George Clooney in 'Three Kings' and directed the Oscar winning 'Silver Linings Playbook'. O'Russel said of Selena “When developing these roles I really had two women in mind. Meryl Streep and Selena Gomez. The only issue with Selena was that she had never acted in a serious picture before. I just envisioned her as Lauren. So I invited her to show me and the producers some of her acting skills and she proved me right. She was perfect for the role.” Filming took place in New York, Connecticut, Florence, Italy, Rome, Italy and Venice, Italy. Promotion has started today, with a commercial going out and premiering on Good Morning America along with Billboards in New York, California, Chicago, Florida and several places around the world (such as Dubai, France, Italy, London, Argentina and Australia). Several promotional events have been scheduled and there will be a series premieres, with the first being on January 6th, held at the Ziegfield Theater in New York City. There will also be an Australian premier, a European premier and a Dubai premiere. Many more details will come very soon.

TAYLOR SWIFT X THE VOICE
Taylor Swift was live on The Voice tonight where she would give a performance of a medley of songs from her album ‘Yours: The Greatest Hits’ which was released earlier, Saturday morning to be exact. The singer-songwriter spoke about the album in an interview with NBC about the process of making the record and how her promotional campaign for the album will unfold. “Recording and making this album has been an entirely different experience than the ones before. It didn’t really involve as much energy and time as the others did but it still really called for me to be creative. I had more input in what went on the album, what the design for the singles and the album would be like, and really planning out the promotion. That right there involved far more effort and attention from be as if I’d recorded a whole new entire album so. That was nice.”
“The promotional campaign for this album will be a little bigger than the rest. We went with an earlier release to really just get it out there for the fans to buy and also to really just get in as much sales we could for the album. But it’s never really just about sales to me. If I want you to spend money on something of mine it’s going to be of quality. It’s no different with this album. It’s fair priced for it’s containments so I think fans will have no problem spending their money on it. Everything on there is from the heart and has some really intimate stuff.” Taylor said this backstage in an interview with NBC while she was waiting to go on stage on The Voice. “Really this album is just for the fans and for me to really appreciate and reflect on the amazing experiences I’ve had in the highs of my career thus far. It’s all really just an appreciation record.”
Ten or so minute later Taylor would be introduced to the stage by the host Carson Daly, former TRL host. “Everyone welcome the biggest female force in music today, she’s a multi-platinum recording artist, winner of seven GRAMMY awards, and the best selling female artist of the decade. Everyone please welcome performing a medley from her brand new album ‘Yours: The Greatest Hits’, Taylor Swift!” Taylor would then proceed to open up her performance with one of her former number one hits, ‘Loverboy’. The singer would appear stepping out a pink glass box/case things, smoke rolling out when open, Taylor decked out in black sequined crop top with some match pants that had a strip of gray sequins running along the side. She would include some subtle yet effective choreography before she’d move into the next song.
The next song was ‘Lipstick on His Collar’, an urban like beat hitting the studio, similar to Swift’s former hit ‘Blank Space’. She’d place her hand on her hip as she’d serve vocals on the song. “You might think you have him now but girl you’re not the one just one of, cause when you’re taking his clothes off, you better know I’ve left my mark, burning bright red, my lipstick is on his collar.” Swift’s vocals would serve a bit of a Christina tea, serving some major ad-libs before she’d go into ‘Harvard Smiles’.
‘Harvard Smiles’ would bring some applause, Taylor smiling as the stage slightly changed in lighting, an acoustic production hitting as Taylor would sing the song for a minute or so before she’d head into the next song. Her vocals were strong and she would navigate around the stage far more than she had with the other channels. “Constantly being dragged in my boys not worth my while but plagued with Harvard Smiles.”
The final song of the medley would be ‘Style’, Taylor’s number one hit which went number one this week becoming her ninth overall number one and her fourteenth top three hit. The song would slow a bit as the whole stage would glow pink, Taylor’s silhouette appearing in a glass box, her leaning seductively and posting in a sexy manner as the guitar riff floated throughout the performance. She’s perform the entire song sans the second verse, serving vocals and fashion, the audience singing loudly with her, an abnormally for The Voice audience. Swift’s first ever greatest hits album, ‘Yours: The Greatest Hits’ is out now.

Christina Aguilera releases album, Truth Pill
+ exclusive behind the scenes footage
At midnight, Christina Aguilera finally released her long-awaited and most anticipated 8th upcoming studio album - Truth Pill. It sees Christina take a more abstract, indie approach compared to her usual pop flair which was everything Lotus was back in 2012. The entire record is executively produced by none other than Paul Epworth although there are a bunch of other familiar and not-so-familiar names throughout the album. Truth Pill consists of 22 tracks altogether although 3 are not yet available and will be exclusively released to the masses once a special edition of Truth Pill is dropped.
The experimental record features names from Mark Ronson to iamamiwhoami. Overall, Christina wrote every song although she did have some help for a few of them e.g. her collaboration with Bjork since Bjork needed to write her own part. There is a cool track on Truth Pill which is titled Grandfather Clock. It's about death and Christina wrote, produced and composed the entire song all by herself. Throughout her career, Christina's been prone to explore her boundaries as an artist so it's refreshing to see her take such a risk and create everything from scratch even if it's just for one track. Let Them Eat Cake, which serves as the album's only promotional/buzz single, was already featured on Pandara's Box (her previous album) and was supposed to be its third single but that unfortunately didn't work out. There are many future single choices that Christina can pick from with Amethyst Bleach being the most notable. It talks about self-harm and materialism and how far that extends in society today. Amethyst Bleach is definitely one of the standout tracks.

Moreover, Truth Pill is a more conceptual album than Christina Aguilera has ever done before. It toys around with the idea of "the blue pill and the red pill" and finally "the truth pill". The blue pill and red pill interludes are basically different sections of the album. Even though it's still as cohesive without them, there's a clear shift in tone correlating to where the interludes are placed on the tracklist. Truth Pill is the first interlude although it's a track of its own. The songs that follow it are extremely raw and authentic. They don't bother covering anything up and are supposed to be taken from face-value. This is proven by sex anthem Karmasutra which is play on the words: karma and kamasutra. It's about sexual intimacy, obviously, and how that links to karma which is essentially committing adultery. In the song, Christina talks about how she's missing her lover who's overseas and almost taunts him throughout.
Then we move onto the blue pill section where things are more introspective in order to represent the blue pill's correlation with the phrase: "ignorance is bliss". The tracks are definitely more complex with an introverted tone. Lastly, is the red pill section where things get more experimental and brash. It's very much like the truth pill section, however, it takes what is realised during the blue pill section and brings that to life. Sour Grapes is another standout track and it talks about "sweet nothings", chasing after someone who mistreats you. The deluxe album has 4 more tracks: In Denial, Handle With Care, Soulless Soul and If I Should Disappear. They are stripped to the core but is still motivated by strong storytelling. There are also three more tracks on the special edition which is not out yet: Waves (feat. Kendrick Lamar), The Naked Truth (Live) and What If. There will also be exclusive behind the scenes footage included on the special edition so be sure to watch out for that in the coming week or so!
The sound of Truth Pill leaves much room for interpretation. All in all, it's heavily inspired by hip hop beats although they have a rock edge which is brought together by an indie core. This album is probably Christina's most ambitious and experimental project yet. There's a lot more sides of Christina Aguilera showcased on Truth Pill than ever seen before. It's an album you wouldn't want to miss out on.

Interview with Alan Carr on Chatty Man
705 Words
Today is rumored to be Cara's last day in the UK before flying back to the US for more US promotion for her album 'Distant Horizon' released this week which is also promoted by the single 'La Belle' and the promotional singles 'Honey' and 'Kiss To My Heart'. Wearing a Emanuel Ungaro outfit with Nicholas Kirkwood heels, Cara had her hair up in a bun while arriving to the show and sat down in a an elegant long dress from a private pieces collection of Cara composed of Vintage items. She also wore long black gloves and her hair had one big headpiece composed of Swarovski crystals and feathers, the ensemble giving off a very 1920s inspired outfit.
She sat down on the couch next to Alan Carr who proposed her a few drinks from which she gladly took a glass a filled it with a tequila. After joking around with Alan Carr a little bit and teasing him, acting as if she was being seduced by him, making the whole crowd laugh, the more serious interview started.
Alan Carr: So how do you actually go on promoting your album? Do you just ask your label to appear at a certain show and you come? I'm sure you asked yourself to come here
Cara: *laughs* Well not really, I do propose to appear at certain shows that I think are convenient, they book nearly everything as long as I'm in a perfect shape to promote I ask them to book me some more shows so I can just bring up my music again and again to everyone.
Alan: And your music, do you think people can relate to it?
Cara: Well it depends, it depends on a lot of things actually. This album talks about rejecting hate your getting, trying to make everything as amazing as it can be, with a few sex songs. I think everyone receives hate at some point, everyone tries to live as good as possible and everyone doesn't wants to have some more fun in life. So for this album, yes overall. Not directly through certain lyrics, because I'm pretty sure I'm one of the rare people who afford luxurious clothes or hang out with designers as said in the La Belle lyrics, but as an overall theme, basically making yourself look as good as possible yes, I think everyone relates to a certain level.
Alan: What about the tour, you keep on promising your fans you're doing a stadium tour, we stil haven't seen that!
Cara: Well it's just that I'm really busy right now, it will happen, that's for sure, when is the actual question. My label is currently booking a few venues here and there.
Alan: And you don't just do music. You're interested in a film career, continuing your own fashion line, creating your first perfume, is that right?
Cara: Yes, I already got the lead role in Paper Towns, I did this fashion line called 'CARA" back in 2013 and opened my own store, but I'd like to see it expand. And I'm currently working on a perfume...
Alan: Well thank you for joining us today, you will be performing now, right?
Cara: Yeah, obviously!
After the commercial break, Cara was shown sitting on a black piano, in a very short version of the 1920s inspired dress she wore on the show. She had a different head piece but it kept the same 1920s theme. She also was wearing an Emanuel Ungaro pair of heels. She started her performance by singing the first lines of 'Kiss To My Heart'. Cara twirled around the stage and sat down next to the pianist, who was playing a more simple and acoustic version of the pop song. The song was shortened and the moment the pianist stopped playing a heavy trap beat started and dancers came onto the stage dancing around to the 'La Belle' beat which started. The whole performance was very inspired by the party scenes in The Great Gatsby movie. After a few dance moves and choruses, Cara ended the performance sitting back down on the piano, a champagne drink in her hand before giving a kiss to the crowd which was screaming Cara's name.

Selena Gomez On Good Morning America
Early this morning, after the news broke of Lauren Rosario being released tomorrow, Selena Gomez came to the set of Good Morning America for an interview about the film. Check out a clip of the interview that Good Morning America uploaded online. She also performed her hit single ‘What You See’ and it was also uploaded onto Good Morning America’s official YouTube channel and to the website.
-Transcript-
GMA Hosts: Let’s talk about the release of the film for a second. Explain that to us.
Selena Gomez: Sure. We gathered a ton of reporters and flew them to Cannes to announce and give details on the film. They were all given specific instructions and forced to sign contracts to break the news on the morning of Monday, January 5th. No earlier and no laters. And now the film is being released on the 6th. I was very involved in this release strategy.
GMA Hosts: Isn’t it a bit risky to release so soon after just announcing it?
Selena Gomez: It could be, but I don’t think so. The film was initially announced back in March. So there’s been buzz. Fans and publications have been waiting for the date. And now we’ve given it to them.
GMA Hosts: Why didn’t you go for a typical release?
Selena Gomez: Well what we’ve [talking about herself & the producers] learned is that there isn’t a need for it sometimes. Those times being when you have a team of all-stars such as a big public figure (myself), a legendary actress (Meryl Streep) and an acclaimed director (David O’Russell). It has the factors needed to make people go out and see it. We as a team all have individual audiences, and those combined audiences can and will prove to be beneficial.
GMA Hosts: What types of publications were there?
Selena Gomez: We had somewhere in the realm of 200 journalists and reporters. So many different types of publications. Fashion magazines, film critics, bloggers, music magazines, sports mags and all. What we wanted to accomplish was getting loads of different audiences to see this. You never know who you’ll reach.
GMA Hosts: So I understand the mass media part, but why are you releasing it so soon after it’s been announced?
Selena Gomez: A really big part of our culture these days is instant gratification. With the rise of the internet, social media, iTunes, Spotify and even illegal downloading - people can get what they want when they want it. So that’s what we’re doing now. Rather than having some prolonged promotional campaign, we’re giving audiences what they want when they first want it. Instant gratification. It’s a new age and we as the entertainment industry have to adjust to that.
GMA Hosts: So speaking of Spotify, the new age, the entertainment industry and instant gratification - recently it’s been talked about how Spotify is bad for the music industry with some artists going to the extent of removing their music from the streaming system. What do you think about this?
Selena Gomez: I think it’s a slippery slope. I’m more for Spotify and similar apps than against. I think it’s silly to think that streaming is the reason for the decline in sales, but I can see how it kind of detracts from them. But I don’t think we should use Spotify as a scapegoat. I think the decline in sales can be accredited to our economy in one sense. People just don’t have the money to buy entire albums anymore. And when they do have money to spend luxuriously, they want to spend it on things other than music. And you can’t blame them for that when we’re in a state of the industry that really lacks a lot of interesting artists and originality. Artists release album after album and it becomes exhausting. It becomes part of one big blur. And then people don’t pay attention to the body of work anymore. And also, I can really accredit the fact that I’ve gotten into and heard a lot of music that I otherwise wouldn’t have without Spotify. So I think it’s completely useful.

Christina performs Chrysalis on The Today Show with Björk

This morning, Christina Aguilera performed her second single from the album Truth Pill. The song is called Chrysalis and is a duet with fellow labelmate Björk who's also rumoured to be releasing this quarter. Chrysalis is produced by FKA Twigs' producer Arca. He is known for having a distinct trip hop sound but decided to take a more indie/psychedelic approach this time around. It's only been out for a day and is already making an impact in the music industry. The music video is reportedly scheduled to be released this week although we cannot confirm these assumptions yet. Christina has performed on The Today Show many times before, even doing a full-length set list back in 2010, but this is the first time Björk has ever stepped onto that stage.
The actual performance itself was extremely abstract and gratifying to the concept they're going for with Chrysalis. The pair both started off being chained together at the feet with a messy worn-out rope embroidered with intricate leaves. They sing to each other, tears in their eyes as they both tried to run away only for the rope to keep them attached together. Strolling and holding hands, Christina and Björk walked down the stage to reach the middle or centre stage. They circle the other, tripping every now and again. Christina then drags Björk around the stage as the song nears its bridge. The rope seems to have now set them free quite nonchalantly. There was no struggle. No pain. Nothing. They both seem lost but run on stage hysterically until... the magnets in their shoes bring them back together, they try to claw their way out with no prevail. Björk and Christina sit side-by-side singing Chrysalis' piercing chorus. Black sticky liquid is released from "the skies", it has an almost liquorice consistency. The black liquid drenches the girls who are sound asleep. Both crawl at either end of the stage, leaving the rope in the middle which is completely clean. It doesn't seem to have been affected by the black liquid. They look at each other one last time before smiling and breathe a sigh of relief. Smoke fills the stage and they're frozen, covered in this white dust while in an embrace. The performance ends.
During the performance, Christina and Björk both wore rags in order to symbolise that they are "one" and their hair was comparable to that of a bird's nest. What they were wearing definitely took a step back in this performance in order to not take away from the message of the song. The entire premise of the performance had everything to with finding your soulmate although it's very much up to interpretation. It's been said that the performance is a sneak peak into what the music video might include. The rope aspect is very closely linked to the lyrics sung during the bridge: Two swans in a lake, gliding away / They drown in its shallow waters / The same way, the same day / Two swans kiss in a bloody lake / But they keep dancing, dancing in their wake. These lyrics are later repeated near the end. It's been rumoured that the music video will have a "swan song" concept although nothing's been truly confirmed yet.

Cara Delevingne: The Interactive Billboards+Album Commercial
542 Words

"Promoting an album is a BIG thing" Cara Delevingne said during a press conference held in London by her record label, Variety Records, through which was released 'Distant Horizon', 2 days ago on January 3rd. "Those days everyone promotes an album through performances for example, it's time that I Place myself as a bigger competitor, stand out, which is why me and my record label are launching this amazing campaign promoting my album."
Cara Delevingne is referring to the series of Interactive billboards which were placed all around the world. Literally. More than a hundred and fifty cities around the world will have now placed at least 20 of those interactive Billboards per city. Those interactive billboards are about 3 or 4 meters long depending on the billboard, and have a few multiple small and simplistic machine stations linked to the billboards, which contain an ITunes page, which shows Cara Delevigne's album 'DISTANT HORIZON'. The people passing by will be able to simply enter their credit card code into the machine along with the credit card and will be able to buy 'Distant Horizon' digitally, which will instantly be available on their phone and ITunes account. Those small buying machines are linked to the gigantic billboard which shows Cara Delevingne's album cover along with another picture from the album's photoshoot.
Those interactive Billboards can be found in cities such as Paris, London, New York City, Tokyo, Sydney, Melbourne, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Rome, Milan, Barcelona, Beirut, Dubai, Bombay, Sao Paulo, Mexico City, Washington DC, Miami, Toronto, Vancover, Ottawa and many more, each interactive billboard is guarded by a guard, so they won't be vandalized. The price of the album is also cheaper through those billboards, instead of buying it for the regular 12.99$ the standard edition is available for 10.99$ while the deluxe edition's price is lowered from 14.99$ to 12.99$. A Counted is also available next to every Billboard, selling physical editions of the album and is here in need of help.
Those interactive billboards come in addition to the regular billboards placed all around cities in the world promoting the album 'Distant Horizon', and the megatrons used to show a brand new commercial for the album which shows Cara dancing around in a sexy black leather bikini inside a cold old room to songs such as 'La Belle', 'Honey' and 'Kiss To My Heart', the commercial is also played on television channels all around the world and the interactive billboards will surely bring in a lot of sales due to the amount of people passing by, the billboards having been placed in certain very crowded places in cities such as Times Square in New York, and the fast and discounted manner of purchase of the album. "We are very pleased of the results those Billboards have given us, and we have very high expectations from them. " said Variety Records CEO Rayan, who also discussed topics such as the fundings during the conference, revealing that a certain percentage of the price of those billboards have been paid by British airways, with whom Cara Delevingne collaborated on a commercial which has been airing non-stop ever since last week. Cara Delevingne is also shown on the livery of certain British Airways planes.

Cara Delevingne performs on Strictly Come Dancing
511 Words
Promoting her brand new album 'Distant Horizon' and the single 'La Belle' which after being released last week managed to get more then 440 Thousand copies sold all around the world, reaching #2 on the charts and topping certain regional charts such as in France, Japan and Germany, Cara Delevingne appeared on the hit dancing competition Strictly Come Dancing, which is considered as being one of the biggest and most watched competition shows in the UK.
"Here she is, the one and only British Fashion goddess who after modeling, acting and releasing a debut album, is now back to the top of the music charts with her single and new album 'Distant Horizon', please welcome the one and only Cara Delevingne!"
Wearing a sexy black lace bikini by Victoria's Secret which had a black sheer cape and black leather heeled boots by Victoria's Secret as well, Cara started singing the first few lyrics of the song while advancing slowly on the stage looking at a male dancer who was at the end of the stage. RIght when the beat started getting louder and louder as the chorus approached, Cara got down on her knees then fell down to the ground landing on her back, and doing a few hand movements, 3 female dancers which ended up in the same position as her started doing the same moves as her but in their direction, as they were pointing to different ones. Cara was then held up in the air by those female dancers while she remained in her pose, during the chorus, until they reached the male dancer. Cara then got her legs all around the male dancer who held her up in the air before putting her back down while a dancer brought her a champagne glass and she started doing a simplistic choreography before doing a catwalk through the whole stage while dancers were forming a square all around the stage dancing a choreography while Cara passed between them. Cara threw her champagne glass to the ground while posing fiercely (ala Gaga & Xtina on The Voice) while the dancers all got down to their knees and hands, all of them basically posing in animal-esque pose.
Cara Delevingne attracted attention due to her outfit and dry humping the male dancer at the beginning but it mostly attracted some attention towards her, and pushed the song 'La Belle' to the top of the radio charts and back at the top of the ITunes UK chart. Sales are strong for the song, and the success of the single in the UK translated into album sales, 'Distant Horizon' still being #1 on the UK ITunes selling nearly twice as much as the second album on the charts following Cara's.
'La Belle' is the lead single off 'Distant Horizon' both being available now, and the promotional singles 'Kiss To My Heart' and 'Honey' can also be purchased, both songs have shown strong competition too, as they both reached the top 3 once released before steadying themselves within the Top 15 a few hours later.

TRACK – BY – TRACK
Immediately after the release of Natalia Kills’ sophomore album, “The Definition of Bad”, a track-by-track was immediately uploaded to Natalia’s Youtube channel. The track by track:
1. INTRO/THE BIRTH OF BAD
Like every record I do, I like to have an intro, something that sets the tone for the album and makes the listener aware to the fact that this is a new phase, a new era, so I find these little intros very important in the production of an album. This particular one, “The Birth of Bad” has a really haunting sound which I think the majority of this album has, that feeling of unholiness and impurity mixed with raw and palpable bitch emotions…that’s what the record sounds like.
2. COVEN de COUTURE
Coven is by far one of my best songs on the album and of course, the lead single. It’s a really different kind of song because it can’t really be classified into any particular kind of genre. It’s sexy, it’s haunting, it’s powerful, but at the same time, it’s soulful. It’s an all-around amazing song.
3. HIGH RISE
Like majority of the album and majority of the songs I write, this song has a personal story behind it. I wrote this song on my way to performing a show at MSG, that’s Madison Square Garden and as I drove through the streets again and saw all of those high rise buildings, it sort of put tears in my eyes because I began to reminisce upon the days when I had nothing, absolutely nothing. So driving through those streets and seeing them, it just sort of inspired me to write this song.
4. STILETTOS (SIX INCHES)
This is one of the naughtiest songs on the album. It’s one of the songs you hear and instantly think wow, this is what bad sounds like. It’s a dominitrix kind of song, it’s uber sexy, really raunchy, and when recording it, I remember Jeff felt soo uncomfortable cuz of how sexy the song was. It’s such a bad girl kind of song and I like to see it as a feminist anthem as well because in the song, there’s the bit where I kind of talk about…I don’t think I can say that on camera. Well, all I can say is that six inches is not referring only to the length of my heels. **sips tea**
5. XXX
Now this is the naughtiest song on the album. I put the both of them side by side because I wanted anyone who felt uncomfortable after listening to Stilettos to dig a grave after listening to XXX. It is the definition of bad. And this kind of bad here, is the overtly sexy kind of bad! It’s a really fun song though.
6. AGAINST THE WALL
No, this song is not about sex. It’s about dancing and partying in the neon lights. It’s about letting go and just being free and happy. It’s about not leaning against the wall in the club, it’s about that person pushing you against the wall in the heat of the moment, it’s a really liberating kind of song.
7. WOUNDED FIST
This is one of , or should I say, the saddest song on the album. I put it immediately after Against The Wall because there is a correlation they both have. It’s a song about murder but not murder just for the hell of it, murder because of domestic violence. This song is actually really personal to me cuz I had a friend whose currently in jail and it’s because of domestic violence, this man whom she loved and married kept on beating her, molesting her, and all those kind of things. He did it so much until one day she had enough and she struck back. I bawl my eyes out every single time I hear this song, it’s genuinely really really sad especially because of how much truth is in it.
8. CRYSTAL BLUE
This is a nostalgic song about one of the happiest times of my life. When Willy and I went out to one of the most beautiful beaches ever and just had such an amazing time. It’s a really euphoric song.
9. EYES SHUT
This is a heartbreak song. A song about betrayal and somebody stabbing you in the back in your darkest more vulnerable hours.
10. WHIRLWIND
Whirlwind is another dance song on the record. It’s more disco inspired and it’s just a really feel good song. I absolutely love it
11. BLASPHEMY
I like to call Blasphemy to “War, Lies, Love, Money” of this album. It has that kind of riotic anthemtic vibe to it. It’s a song about numerous wrong notions that I believe society is not supposed to live by. It’s the biggest feminist anthem I know.
12. SIRENS
Sirens, yet another bad bitch song.
13. HEAT
Again, yet another sexy/bad bitch song.
