Yeah I heard this on the news years ago. Probably 2011 like ^^ said. I think that it's a great idea. It may seem gross but when you compare it to the fact that scientist are turning to bugs as a food source for humans, it seems less gross.
I'm sure with advanced technology it could be made very efficient to the point where a family of 4 could potentially power their own house or take a big chunk out of their traditional energy use
Maybe, as the technology evolves, it could be applied to vehicles someday. Gasoline-powered internal combustion engines can be converted relatively easily to run on hydrogen, which raises the question of whether there is potential for pee-powered cars in the future.
