This is the final round! Congrats for making it this far. Now this round will be much like last season's finale, in the sense that it will be a three part challenge.
Part 1: Red Carpet Ready-
Send me your artists' most glamorous, most stunning, most red carpet ready look that you can find. Pretend that this finale was a live show and you needed to impress everyone watching!
Part 2: The Finale Song-
This is the part that will be different. Last season the finalists needed to submit an empowerment song, the problem is that some flops don't have that. So for this season, just give me a song that your artist has that can really WOW someone.
Part 3: The Speech-
Write a speech in 1-2 paragraphs explaining why your flop deserves to be more and should be a superstar.
Everything is due on Tuesday Jan 6th at 12 PM EST!
This is Ciara's most epic, stunning look. I still remember looking at this picture and trying to pick my jaw up from the floor. She was walking the red carpet at the MET Gala and she was glowing! This was one of Ciara's first forray into the high fashion world, after being rocking more simplistic outfits in her first 2 eras. This is the moment where she truly started to shine. She pulled it off effortlessly, looking beautiful, radiant and royal
The Finale Song
Ciara has too many bops and bangers to count, but everytime someone doubts her talent and why she gets more respect and love than the average B-list urban girl, this is the song that I use to clock them. This is the one song that sets Ciara apart from all the other girls. This is the one song that justifies why all her fans, including myself, think she should be a global A-lister and not a local BET celebrity.
Like a Boy is a platinum hit in the US, the only global hit of her second album and Ciara's most watched music video ever with almost 90 million views. It's also her most timeless record, as it gets better with age and it doesn't sound dated, even 9 years later. It's insanely catchy, cleverly produced, perfect for fans of r&b, hip hop and pop and lyrically creative. The original "If I Were A Boy" tbh And let's not even talk about the video, cause it slays lives and careers. That violin intro is genius and instantly recognizable. And the whole song is just next level. It was more than just another r & b hit. It had personality, attitude and a creative vision behind it. Not many flops have a song like that in their discographies.
The Speech
Ciara is a flop. She hasn't had a US top 20 hit or any international charts success since 2008, she hasn't had an album selling more than 250,000 copies since 2006 and her 3 last eras ended abruptly after 2 singles each. But out of all the flops in the world, Ciara is truly the one who doesn't deserve to be in this awkward, semi-irrelevant condition. And there are so many reasons why.
1. She's one of the best performers alive
I mean, just take a look at this, I won't say anything
2. She writes all of her music
Ciara is a very underrated songwriter. She's written every single one of her hits. When will the other flops?
3. She evolves as an artist
Despite her sales being discouraging, Ciara doesn't stop progressing. Her latest album is her most critically acclaimed yet and the album as well as Body Party made plenty of year-end lists in 2013, including Billboard, Pitchfork, Vibe, Complex.
4. She's versatile
She's diverse. Throughout this game, I've submitted all the different sides of her artistry and looking back at my entries, none of the songs sound alike. Goodies sounds nothing like Sorry. I'm Out sounds nothing like Overdose. 1,2 Step sounds nothing like Livin It Up. And my entry this week sounds nothing like any of the above.
5. She's been through hell and back and she's still standing
Where do I start? Her core audience turned against her for not doing hoodrat music, urban radio blacklisted her in 2008, BET banned her in 2010, she paid 150,000 dollars from her own money to shoot the Gimmie Dat video, her own label told radios not to play the song, she had to beg to get out of her contract, she signed with Epic Records back when it was a flop, her original 5th album was shelved and then, despite fighting to make Body Party a hit, the album and the subsequent singles still flopped, yet she's still here, recording her 6th album. That's admirable
This is my last entry in this game Closing, I want to say that I loved the game, it's one of my favorite tournaments ever on ATRL. It was great and exciting to represent one of my favorite artists. Thanks to Ganja for hosting and to all the judges for appreciating my entries and declaring me the winner in 6 out of the 7 challenges

Hilary Duff in Vera Wang
Hilary Duff channels the black fairy and it made her sparkle even brighter in black. Hilary looked so pretty and fabulous in her black, dusty, shimmery tulle Vera Wang creation and nude Brian Atwood pumps. I firmly believe that a finale show truly needs their guests to look gorgeous without pushing too hard. Hilary looked so regal and elegant in this dress. She exudes confidence on this dress. Truly a red carpet ready dress fitting for the finale show/awards night.
Part 2: The Finale Song
Come Clean
Music Video
Live Dignity Tour
For the second part of the finale, I picked "Come Clean" from Hilary Duff. The round is looking for a song that embodies a WOW factor. For me, A song that truly wows me is when a song can leave a huge impact, made me think for a moment about its relevancy to my life and how it can get stuck on your memory that will stand the test of time. All those factors im talking about is evident on Come Clean. The beat, lyrics and overall sound of the song is fun and addictive. It teaches us to live our lives to chase our dreams and that's univerally relatable. Lastly, The song is a classic and still remains fresh whenever I get to listen to it. The song cannot end without giving me that "WOW" feeling due to its overall brilliance.
Part 3: The Speech
Why Should Hilary Win Queen Of The Flops?
Ladies and Gentlemen, Let me thank you all for believing in Hilary Duff's talent and impact. Throughout the entire season, Hilary proved to everyone that she's more than just a Disney Phenomenon or a Teenbopper. We see her grow through the years and we are witness to her artistic growth. She should win because Hilary is like our childhood hero that we have known during the times we are growing up and start to realize what it's like to be a teenager who lives the dream.
Hilary Duff through her iconic tv show Lizzie Mcguire to her movies The Lizzie Mcguire Movie, A Cinderella Story, Cheaper By The Dozen, etc taught us how to follow our ambitions. And her music from her debut album up to her Dignity era up to her new singles last year still reminded us that it is perfectly okay to dream and believe in ourselves. She does not need to have huge vocal pipes to tell us that message. Her voice's sincerity that blends with her songs' meaningful lyrics spoke to us like a dear friend. She may be a flop but one thing truly remains and cannot be erased, Hilary Duff is the queen we all once knew who taught us how to be ourselves with her danceable bops, cool pop rock tunes, sensual tracks and heartwrenching ballads. And that's why I truly believe that Hilary Duff should be hailed as the QUEEN OF THE FLOPS.

When I read the task "a song that your artist has that can really WOW someone," I thought of Pixie's "Poker Face" cover. Everyone knows the original version. A successful song sung by someone else is always risky. I think Pixie did an incredible job with this song because she grabbed and formed it to her own style. It's totally Pixie Lott-ish. The instrumentation is also superb; the nylon-stringed guitar sounds awesome.

I'm not going to write 20 lines, just the most important things you should know about the former UK pop princess. Pixie Lott is an universal artist. She can sing, act, design, dance... what can't she do? She's not that one-hit wonder who releases a song which becomes a huge success, picks up the money and retires. She works hard everyday, It doesn't matter if she's on the top or flops harder than Robin Thicke's latest album. She exactly knows that she can't go back to the top of the charts, but she doesn't/won't give it up. Pixie Lott is already a definition. The definition of humility, loveliness and talent. She has tried many things, as you could see it round by round, and is about to find her own way. That's why she can be the Queen of Flops next to Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Queen of the Flops 2: The Final Round Judges Critiques
Speezy
General Message: You guys made it far It's been a long time coming. You all did your best through out the season and stay on point. But only one will be the Queen of Flops. Good luck to you all
Truth Teller: She is truly RC Ready. Lovely dress and hairstyle to go. Like A boy is a catchy song and slayed the year it was released. She is an amazing dancer and singer in one package.(which is hard to find these days) You did a great job showing off Ci in this game
Yvess: You really brought me back, One of my favorite and most memorable song from a Disney chick.back in the day. I kind of dont like her RC hairstyle that much. I love how she kept herself respectable in a see-through outfit too by wearing something under it. She and Selena is probably the only Disney girl that kept their lives together and didnt change for anyone
Prezli: You done a fantastic job projecting Pixie Lott through out this entire game. I knew of her but you showed me much more of her. Wow! An actually catchy instrumental/acapella version of Pokerface. The outfit fits her too. Her Vocals slayed me @ 1:45
Umich
Truth Teller; Ciara wowed me tonight. I knew she had a lot of greatness, but she's proved to me why she is top notch. Best of luck!
Yvess; Hilary is beautiful - inside and out. I thoroughly enjoyed the exit song and her speech. I know there will be much more ahead for this amazingly-talented woman!
prezli; Flawless dress shot and motivating exit speech. I, for one, would like to see more greatness for Pixie. I think she's holding back but has a lot to offer soon.
GanjaSebert
Truth Teller- Your entire entry is just she looks ***FLAWLESS in that red carpet pic! Like A Boy is a good song but it didn't feel like a finale song to me. Your speech was amazing, all those points you made were well...on POINT
Yvess- Hilary looks really pretty but that dress is kinda ...Come Clean is a BOP! You're right, it doesn't feel dated at all and I never get tired of it, it truly withstood the test of time. Great speech as well, Lizzie McGuire is iconic
Prezli- She's slaying in that dress! The cover was good but I'm not sure why you picked a song by another artist though, this is the finale round we want to here what YOUR artist has. I really like your speech, how Pixie knows she's a flop but releases music like nothing
Last season someone used Pixie and flopped hard, you were able to use her and bring her to the finals!! Thanks for playing
Which means that the winner of the 2nd season of Queen of the Flops is...
Truth Teller (Ciara)!!!!
Congrats!!
Speezy: 10
Umich: 9
Ganja Sebert: 9.5
Score: 9.5
Truth Teller, you slayed throughout this whole entire competition. After your 3rd or 4th consecutive win I had a feeling that you would take the crown and you did! Every entry was perfection, and you have made me realize that Ciara truly does not deserve to be a flop!
Thank you to Speezy, Nnnmo and Umich for being so nice to me and poor Cici
And shoutout to Yvess and prezli for being amazing contestants. Your artists were NOT easy to represent and you slayed harder than Ciara's first album, back when she was relevant and a threat to Beyonce
Also, buy Ciara's new single "I Bet" on iTunes whenever her label decides to release it, so that she can stop being such a huge flop
Im kidding. With all due respect, Sebert, you need to focus more in your games and be harder on people. The lack of 'f*cks given' bothered and made me tired of the game.

As for the winner, so truly deserved!
I have a life outside of ATRL you know. **** happens. The fact that you made it all the way to the top 4 and just decide not to send in an entry just to teach me a lesson is pretty annoying.
