Kim was never cleaning Paris Hilton's closet, that's one. And you can take any celebrity and say "Without ______ they would've still been _______" so I'm not quite sure what your point is. Kim, unlike Kevin, is an actual business woman. The sextape is what introduced her to people, but that doesn't take away from the fact that she has been on over 10 seasons of a successful TV show. Kevin never became one of the defining faces of american fame. He never became a WW star. Just because they both became famous for controversial reasons does not mean they're the same, that was a dummy thing to say. Don't say ignorant things just because you don't like her.

Yes of course, Beyoncé's obviously way more talented and is way above her but at the end of the day, they became famous through their music/talent.
Not because of some cheap trick that helped them get a reality tv show.

Contrary to your delusion, many famous people in Hollywood actually worked hard for their position and have talent, of course there are some bad, empty characters in there too but it's like that with everything.
Without the sex tape Kim wouldn't even have that TV show and it's really not that difficult to maintain a TV show like that when you're basically a slave to the industry.
By that I mean that all their social media is so controlled to the point where you're not even getting the 'real' them anymore, it's all part of the game to stay famous.
She knows what teenagers want these days in a famous person and she does everything to give it to them through her image.
But is that really something to be proud of?
Kim's supposed 'sense of style' isn't revolutionary either, she just wears whatever designers create to stay up to date with every single trend on this earth. So don't even start about style because she only has 'style' cause she has money.
Other than that, she is a business woman, yes, I'll give you that.
But don't act like she's this amazing, original super star because in reality Kim is just the definition of every annoying thing in modern society.
THAT'S EXACTLY WHY she belongs in the same vapid category as Kevin but she might be a few steps above him, yes.
What an achievement.
But I shouldn't have typed all of this because you're probably one of those people who believe that she's the new Marilyn Monroe.
