everyday when I get out of the shower, it grosses me out so much when I see someone with piles of wax in their ears

Daily. Not that I've got loads of earwax or anything, but I HAVE to swab them after I shower.

Otherwise I just don't feel right

I use a q-tip every time after I shower, so that's anywhere between 3-5 times a week.

Right?

I haven't done it in ages.

Ear wax is there for several reasons anyway, one of which is to protect the ear from bacteria. Cleaning it once a week is fine but you shouldn't be cleaning out your ear daily with cotton buds because they can actually damage it if you do it too much.

Usually after taking the shower (so daily), also because I hate having wet ears and since I clean them daily I'm never agressive or invasive.

Every 3 days It's not healthy to clean your ears everyday tho.
