USA did justice to the movie. Damn I would hate to be in France right now. And to think you guys LIKE REC better than QUARANTINE. 
It's a wreck. They didn't have A DOG in the movie. Yet that's what the whole storyline/plot was based on. RABIES.
Plus USA added dogs to Quarantine, they even added the part where that officier got up and started to walk on his broken leg (and you could see it's bones sticking out). That wasn't in Rec. Nor was the whole scene where they went upstairs secretly with a couple and the dog attacked the guy in the elevator and they tried turning the TV on, then a zombie attacked them.

What else. The first lady looked horrible. Like really? When they first break into the apartment room and meet the first victim? She wasn't scary at all. USA's was a lot more scarier and gorier.
Wow, so many flaws in Rec. I was laughing so much in the movie. Yeah I didn't understand a WORD what they said, but I was looking at the "elements" of what made the movie and it was NOT GOOD.
It didn't have that "feel" to it. LOL!!!! If you haven't seen REC, don't. Watch Quarantine.
And if I remember right, the girl or should I say reporter was SMILING a bit at the end when they were in the attic. Horrible acting. I was like really? You are smiling? LMAO.

Plus toward the end when they were trying to get the "keys" to the basement, the police officer was holding the zombie off the reporter and camera guy, but yet the zombie didn't do anything!!! She just tried getting out of his hands. She didn't even attack the person holding her. It's like watching a mother holding her troubled kid back.

I went to see REC when it came out here in Mexico, because I knew and saw the viral campaign that Quarantine was having and that connected me to the movie being a remake of REC....so I went to see REC to the movies and WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW it was amazing, it is amazing
it came out in DVD a few weeks ago and of course I bought it...and let me tell you something, the behind the scenes shows so many things that many of us never imagined about the movie, for instance, you can tell that it's a low budget scary movie....but the elements that helpd for it not to look cheap happen to be an accomplishment for low budget cinema...we all know how US usually owns WW theaters
Quarantine is a TOTAL ri-off.....crap like: the fireman hiting on Angela, I mean, pleaase could you people need to sell sex and stop showing women as ****s
The shower scenes?? Come on, lame humor that was not really necessarily and was completely out of plot
I stopped watching Quarantine...it is really bad, bigger effects, make up, better lighting, but PURE crap when it comes to adaptation
