So are SF4 Arcade Edition and Ultra SF4 (both of which, btw, are $15, less than the 4 MK9 characters selling for 5 each) yet ya'll call them re-releases

And yet with all those sales they are still playing 2nd fiddle to legendary MK franchise. SF sold more because its more kid friendly. This has been well established for like 20 years now. Is it hard to understand? Super Smash bros has sold more then any SF game EVER without any re-releases. See the similarities hun.

1992: MK1 (Mortal Kombat 1) comes out and borrowed everything from SF2 + adds fatalities

1996: Street Fighter EX comes out, 3d graphics and gameplay
1997: MK4 (Mortal Kombat 4) comes out, 3d graphics and gameplay

2008: SF4 comes out, brings back 2D gamelpay but with 3D graphics, called 2.5D fighter
2011: MK9 (Mortal Kombat 9) comes out and goes back to 2D gameplay with 3D graphics, after years of being a 3D fighter

2008: SF4 brings back EX moves from SF3
2011: MK9 (Mortal Kombat 9) comes out and introduces EX moves

2008: SF4 introduces Ultra moves
2011: MK9 (Mortal Kombat 9) introduces X-Rays

MK didn't borrow anything from SF. It was a completely different direction they took.

SF EX is hardly 3D since you fight in a 2D plane field. Its more 2.5D. And 1996

2 years behind the curb when Virtua Fighter did it first in 1994. And Lol at you failing to include the 1995 SF game that completely jacked MK digitized graphics.

This was done because the fans demanded a return to 2D because its alot easier to perform combos. It had nothing to do with SF.

Gurl this is probably the only thing remotely similar and yet MK did it better.

And shall we bring up MK series on YT which SF also copied. hmmm. But no, lets just bring up all this nonsense similarities which any 2 games can be made of.

SF4 + SSF4 = 6.5M
MK9 + MK9KE = 4M

And you can say what you want, the fact is that SF is selling more, earning more, getting better reviews and more acclaim + also has had MK (Mortal Kombat, not Mario Kart) 's producer wanting a SFvsMK (Mortal Kombat) game for almost 2 decades now while nobody in Asia or in CAPCOM's offices have MK (Mortal Kombat) on their minds
