Usually I would be too. I was literally so apathetic about grades in high school. But ever since I set my eyes on top tier law schools, I've been caring a whole lot more.
I'd aim for a 3.6 if I'm considering law school, and a 170 on the LSAT. Actually, the LSAT is probably all I'd be focusing on
Plus, you're an URM with a few extracurriculars (I assume), so if you do well enough on the LSAT, I'm sure a top tier school would accept you

Yeah, I'm definitely going to focus on the LSAT. My friend is planning on going to med school and she's already preparing for her MCAT (we're freshmen lol). Hopefully a school accepts me, ideally Columbia or University of Chicago.

I'm a junior and I only started seriously prepping for the MCAT a month or two ago. I wanna go to University Of Chicago for med school, but it all depends on that MCAT now. Hoping for a 3.6-3.75 GPA by the time I'm finished with school.

Yass. UChicago med slays. I love that hospital. That's where I was born, where I had my knee surgery, and where I used to go to the pediatrician. Good luck with the MCAT and Med school!
