This is nonsensical

The Super Bowl is an event that features a performance - The Grammys are awards behanded by a group of people. It doesn't make sense to compare the two. It's taken out of context. Super Bowl is usually headlined by an artist who attained huge commercial success, while Grammys (supposedly) are about the musical talent and artistry.
For me the Super Bowl is a matter of popularity, not really about the music itself if you think about it. Imo.

People saying its ONLY a performance. Girls, some random nobody can win a Grammy for making a random ass carribean jazz album. Some random ass nobody can win a Grammy because they designed CD packaging. You can win a GRAMMY for making the best children's storytelling album.

The Superbowl means you have achieved massive success and fame. Simple and clear as that. Its exclusive.

Glad some people have common sense here.

Lots of people can get Grammys, sometimes multiple and many more can be nominated to have a shot at them.

Not everyone can do the Super Bowl.

Surely then it's more important? I know you were just trying to make a pointless jab but let's be honest, no-one cares about someone getting/losing a Grammy yet a good/awful performance at the SB is national news, no?

why are people trying the "local" shade @ the superbowl? the grammys is not a worldwide televised event... and it only rewards American music...
