People have historically always been more likely to vote Republican in midterm elections.

And it's not like they have a favorable image in the public. Minority votes are what helped Obama two times in a row and they're going to need to get their act together and appeal to them if they want to win.

Irrelevant. The election is still almost 2 year away. And with the economy recovering so incredibly well, the GP will be inclined to stick with the party that fixed it, and the party that has historically been much better at handling the economy. Plus Hil is so popular, this is an extraordinary circumstance for an extraordinary candidate. There's no republican who stands a chance against her in the general election, especially with demographics so heavily favoring Democrats in presidential election years, when the young and minority voters come out in full force. Hil is getting elected, you have two years to get used to that fact, 'cause it's an inevitability.

I don't want her to be president simply because I don't anyone that old tbh. It adds an unnecessary risk in my opinion. I don't want someone that old whether it's a female, male, Dem, Rep, anyone. But good for her.
