Yes, the first episodes were basically Monica dating a new guy each episode and Ross hiding his feelings for Rachel. Then the Ross/Rachel takeover by the end of the first season and the beginning of season 2.
Phoebe, Joey and Chandler were like secondary characters the first season.
I already own all the seasons but this is nice.
