This song, like many Banks songs in general, took a long time to grow on me but hit me hard once I really got into it. Usually I find her lyricism and artistry in general a bit contrived and tacky but this album opener somehow works with me. It's a very pretty song and it's easy for me to relate to kinda. Pleaaaaaaaase! Give me one exCuCuuuuuUSssse!

I LIVE for these kinds of low key Mariah songs. It upsets me that everyone is sleeping on her when she puts out nice bops like this song. Slides right in with her classics quality wise.

The last FKA song in my countdown It was between this one and the flawless Two Weeks, but ultimately I chose this because it's so very beautiful and touching in an extra sweet way. The percussion, lyricism and vocals all together make for a masterpiece.

After serving nothing but quality, thought-out music for quite some time, Bey dropped this ratchet BOP on all of us so unexpectedly and, well, it's GR8. I would call it a guilty pleasure if I felt any guilt. Such a carefree jam and it's so easy to love. Definitely blast it frequently. Also that video, maaaaaan.

I don't really know much about Troye Sivan besides the fact that he's dating (dated? dk/dc) Tyler Oakley which is kinda nast. But his music is actually not bad, I look forward to hearing more songs like this. Lyrically stunning, hypnotic to the ears instrumentally. A very good aesthetic he's got going on, too.

The things this woman can do with a guitar... ahhhh. This song is just incredible. I want to shriek it all the time, tbh. "Oh what an ordinary day... take out the garbage, masturbate." Ugh, ground-breaking queen.

I love Lily when she's being defensive yet NON-problematic. This song is definitely overlooked on Sheezus, it's cute and authentic Lily (although the cheap beat probably doesn't help her case).

This song may have been underwhelming for a slew of people (and I see why, it's nothing more than a cookie cutter DJ Mustard song) but I for sure got my life from it. We needed Fergie to come back and END some careers which hasn't quite been done but this song made it close. An anthem for everyone because she probably names where you live somewhere in the song. IBIZA!
