EH! I've just never been here for her solo material. Her vocals are like that of T-Boz or Michelle, Great in a blend, but I can't handle it for an album....

It would be nice if they gave her the Beyonce/Taylor Swift treatment on iTunes the day of it's release. Where every header was about her album.

All that without a label. I like that she has plans well laid out and organised for this era. Waiting for ha new album Blackheart to hit iTunes on 1.15.15 .

Blackheart might sell well. Who knows? I think Dawn likes her job and us fans love her music. It is not always about the numbers.

Hopefully this year she'll finally get the recognition she deserves.

Umm...that's because there's only two people on her team....doing everything. PR, A&R, marketing, management, etc.

She also has a shoe line w/ Lust for Life and sunglasses w/ Coco & Breezy. So I would say they have their hands full.

I do hope she gets a legit manager soon though.

Right. And the bottom line matters more (i.e., how much money goes in her pocket). You guys would be surprised at the money indie artists make. She probably getting just as much (if not more) income as the Tinashe, Jhene, Ciaras in the industry...b/c she doesn't have to split w/ a label.

AND she keeps total creative control.

She also did a Meet the Musician w/ Amor On EP release too.
