Les Miserables was the better musical though. There is a reason it won three Oscars and was the second most nominated film that year. It was daring and indie (made over 4x its budget).

I remember how I wasn't so drawn to watching the movie because it didn't have actors that I liked before and I only watched it because I loved the original play on the West End, OMG what I'd missed, Russell's and Eddie's slayage



On the other hand, I haven't seen the original Into The Woods but the movie has that one name that urges me to buy a ticket , ****ing MERYL STREEP

Nightcrawler was SO good.

I actually might like Into The Woods storyline better than Les Miserables but Les Miserables has one of the best songs of all time and better characters.
