Chris Brown explains why DBGTL was not officially released
According to Brown, the period in which he and Ariana were filming the music video for " Don't Be Gone Too Long " was amazing. Ariana attended the set and there were no problems. He also revealed that the official music release was prevented by a conflict between both labels (RCA Records and Republic Records).
* Republic (Ariana recorder) asked Brown to wait until the singer had released their singles, so that there was a conflict between releases. "They asked me to postpone, but I could not stop what he was doing. Expect to launch my album. So do not put it on him. But the video turned out, so fans could see it, "says the singer.
Still makes no sense why Ariana isn't featured on the album version.
