There are no "oil tycoons" that invite celebrities for "entertainment". That's actually disgusting and offensive.
It's a modern city with great people and classy manners who will invite you over dinner or lunch if anything. Yes, there are crazily rich people there and I've actually known a lot of them for ages. The closest it got to "inviting celebrities" was when Katy Perry was invited by someone and she didn't even stay for that long. They were normal fans who just wanted to sit over lunch or dinner with her. She kept a low profile and then flew away right after.
These things don't actually happen. Media's attempt at corrupting any location with a "rich people" reputation per usual.

Going there to entertain oil tycoons is trashy. They are paid to hangout with oil tycoons. This is commonly referenced on literally every blind site. Most of the people in those pictures are irrelevant, D-list celebrities in their late teens and early 20s. They are not there for business ventures. They're there to make easy cash.
