both ana and elsa are overrated but out of the 2 i prefer ana. anyway i personally prefer snow and belle out of all the disney princesses. and ariel too.
Not really, no. She's certainly more interesting than a lot of the leading ladies in the Disney animated canon (though admittedly that's not saying much).
Yes, I only watched the movie 2 weeks ago and was confused why there are millions of fanarts etc when she's so bland and only like 30 minutes in the movie.
No. Elsa is symbolic of so much. Elsa is a beacon of hope for anyone who feels like an outcast. Elsa is the misunderstood child, taught to be ashamed of herself inherently, who takes charge of her life, and empowers herself. And with the help and guidance and support of Anna, someone who truly LOVES, she conquers her fears (which so tragically are of herself). There is so much meaning and depth behind Frozen's message.
Poor you if you can't recognise that.
Elsa was never meant to be the hero. Anna is obviously the hero. But Elsa portrays the actual crux of the message with her character arc... that love and acceptance conquers fear mongering and exclusion.
This story wouldnt have been told this way 30 years ago. Elsa would have been cast as the villain for being different. And actually, that almost happened anyway, the original sketches have Elsa as the villain. But instead, Disney made actual progress with this. It is actually VERY relevant and metaphorical of current LGBT issues.
