Taylor at the iHeartRadio Music Awards
Taylor Swift’s been one of the biggest names on pop radio and radio in general in the past decade. The singer-songwriter has scored over ten number ones on the pop radio format, numbers one which include her recent hits Loverboy, Cathedrals, Gunshots, Swarovski, Born Into Sin, and her first ever pop radio number ‘Time After Time’ which featured Justin Bieber, whom of which she’s planning on releasing a second collaboration soon entitled ‘Too Good to Lose’. The song has an impact date on radio for two weeks from today although we’ve heard rumors that the release date could be pushed up or pushed back determining the chart position of both Bieber and Taylor’s latest single efforts ‘Memphis’ and ‘Style’, both of which have already entered the top five positions on the pop radio format.
“I’m really excited for what’s next to come. The album campaign’s coming together really well, we have the singles all set up and I think the last single from the greatest this album will really serve well as the transition into the new album I’ll be releasing much later on into the new year. It’s definitely a new and experimental sound for me. People are probably going to think I’m going goth pop or electronic but I’m not. In a way, it’s sort’ve a brand new sound for me that really sticks to my roots, where I started. I’m so excited,” Taylor told in an interview backstage with iHeartRadio. The interview was short and brief lasting about five minutes and being aired live at the iHeartRadio Awards, both of which Taylor received awards.
When asked about how her upcoming tour plans, Swift was nothing but positive and ecstatic. “It’s going really really well too. It begins in less than a week, actually no, a week from now. I’m in the final stages of rehearsals, I’ve been rehearsing for this tour for the past two months while on my break so I had a lot more preparation for this tour than I have my rest. It’s nowhere as grueling as the past tours have been for the previous albums. The show’s definitely going to be amplified and way more interactive than my previous tours have been. There’s going to be an amazing setlist. The tour dates will be announced for other countries soon but this tour unfortunately will probably be cut short but I’ll still be doing concerts after. I can’t entirely spill everything yet but you’ll see as time passes.”
When asked about her love life and what she’s looking for in a man following the breakup with her boyfriend Simon, whom she was asked about, Swift still smiled and still remained optimistic. “I’ll always care about Simon and I’ll always remember how much he meant to me and how much I really meant to him. He found me at my worst and really showed me what love was. If there any type of real love, it was his love. He was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with but unfortunately I think the conditions and circumstances be both live under, just made that impossible. We both knew it was a ticking time bomb but we just knew that eventually we’d have to end things since we both were just living two lives that would most likely never end up in the same place. He’s all over the world modeling and I’m all over the world doing my music thing.”
“And as for love, I think I’m looking for someone who really understand what I want and how I want to spend my life. I can’t just be at home forever with my boyfriend or husband. I need to be out on the road performing, on tour, but I also need those days off where I can just lay up with my special one. I take breaks during the year and during those breaks I try to spend to as much time with my family, friends, and special one as much as possible before I get back on the road. I also want what everyone wants in a relationship. Honesty, affection, but also all the drama that comes with it. If everything was perfect we’d all get bored of how monotonous love would be. Why want the edited version of a relationship when you can have the explicit. It’s like buying a clean edited version of a song when you really want to hear the artist say “****”, you know?” Swift laughed, the interviewer laughing with her before he escorted her to backstage where she would get her microphone pack and microphone hooked up to the audio system.
Before the performance began Swift’s friend and former collaborator Zendaya came out on stage to do her introduction. Zendaya came out in a sexy black body suit with a slit down the chest, showcasing a little of cleavage poking out her hip as she stood at the mic stand, her hand on her hip. “How are you feeling tonight, iHeartRadio Music Awards?…. Good well I do have a special treat for you all. This girl has basically dominated pop music for the past few years, whether it’s scoring eight number one singles, twelve top threes actually, or giving star studded performances, or just being a good friend, this girl does it. She’s scored over five number ones on radio this past year and half and solidified her place in pop music as well. Everyone welcome my friend and pop icon, Taylor Swift!” Zendaya would let out a deafening scream that made people think she was drunk or on crack before strutting off stage.
The lights would dim and Taylor would appear on stage under a flashing pink LED light that flashed with the beat of the guitar riff and pounding synth of the introduction of the song. Taylor’s hair was straightened with it curling a bit naturally at the end of her shoulder length hair. She wore a sparkly crop top, a pink one along with a matching skirt, look gorgeous, sexy, and youthful in it. Her heels matched in color, as Swift held onto a sparkly microphone as well. Her voice was strong and almost husky during the first verse as she posed seductively, the light still flashing as she started progressing toward the first chorus of the song. “I should just tell you to leave cause I know exactly where it leads but I… watch us go round and round each time…”
The chorus hit and the lights stared flashing more intensely as Taylor struck poses during the chorus, moving her hips, flipping her hair and running her fingers through it at the same time. The crowd cheered as she sang the chorus with conviction and power, progressing further on stage to sing the second verse. The lighting changed a little with this verse, the pink strobe lights still flashing as video montage filled the screen behind Taylor. The sillouhettes of Taylor and a guy staring face to face and into each others eye are shown before we get shots of their eyes, one set green, and Taylor’s blue eyes staring into each other. Then the second chorus would hit.
The second chorus saw the appearance of dancers as the dancers and Taylor performed a simple yet visually cute choreographed number. It involved much hand choreography and some footwork along with hip movements, all of which Taylor had down to a ’T’. Swift would stop dancing a few moments earlier to move further out on stage, to belt out the bridge. ‘Just take me home’ Swift would belt out repeatedly, dropping to her knees and slinging her back to belt out an extended note that shocked the audience and viewers. Her vocals were on point as she got back to her feet and belted out the final notes of the song before ending it with a pose, her hand on her hip.
Swift’s single ‘Style’ is out now and her greatest hits album entitled ‘Yours: The Greatest Hits’ is out next week.

VIOLENT FOOTAGE SURFACES ONLINE BETWEEN NATALIA KILLS AND NATASHA BEDINGFIELD + “COVEN DE COUTURE” BECOMES NEW FASHION POLICE THEME SONG.
Reps for both Natalia Kills and Natasha Bedingfield have been contacted but no word is out yet on what happened from both parties. Meanwhile, Natalia Kills has cause to celebrate as her new song just became the new theme song for the Fashion Police. Details on that below:
With the new age of Fashion Police coming with not one but 2 replacements in the criticism panel, the producers of the show decided to give the show a new and fresh sound to mark the change. Apparently, after members of the team heard Natalia Kills’ new song Coven de Couture, they immediately agreed that that was the sound that they needed and made it their mission to make the song the official theme song for the new season of Fashion Police. Well, the team acted quickly and in less than a day, they were able to contact VDK and his team and strike a deal with them making “Coven de Couture” the new official theme song for the show. So fans of Miss Kills, expect to hear the song when Fashion Police returns
We hope that Miss Kills is well and okay to celebrate the news.

Christina Aguilera attends Lollapalooza 2015

Late yesterday evening, Christina Aguilera attended the first Lollapalooza in Argentina of the new year. It marks the very first time Christina has been connected with the annual music festival, generally held across various South American countries although it's also known to be set up in Germany among others. Aguilera is closely tied with the Latin community due to her Ecuadorian roots from her father's side. Hence, the surname - Aguilera. She released a widely-successful record in Spanish way back when, entitled Mi Reflejo, which dropped in 2000 right after her English debut. In addition, Christina doesn't usually do festivals (even in her heydays) so this is a true milestone in her career. This mini-concert (if you will) is planned to span over three countries: Argentina, Brazil and Chile aka the ABC which are the most common locations where Lollapalooza are frequently held so, of course, draws in the most crowds and vilified musicians.
Weeks of preparation has gone into ensuring that everything is executed seamlessly and tailored to Christina's needs. The annual music festival is expected to have a 350, 000 turnout which is a record-high for such an independent event compared to the likes of Glastonbury in the UK. It's already being endorsed by moderately huge companies, such as Lotus (the car company) and Pepsi. The refreshments are sourced out through local shippings although that's soon to change by 2017. Over 10,000 workers volunteered to help set up in Argentina and will be maintained in Brazil and Chile later on. The show in Argentina was a substantial success for both the festival and Aguilera herself. Brazil and Chile are currently expected to bring in even more revenue than that of what Argentina already did.

The set, performed by Xtina, was an array of her timeless hits and a few surprises here and there with the unexpected showing of Icelandic - enigma of sorts - Bjork who is also (believe it or not) Aguilera's labelmate under the record label Catalyst Fall Records which is fronted by their long-running CEO. The eclectic pair dispelled rumours in yesterday evening's show in Argentina by performing an acapella of what appears to be a song they collaborated on for Christina's 8th upcoming studio album which remains without a title. It's not yet known who produced the track, however, but we can confirm it's not Mark Ronson. The entire set (incl. the encore) lasted approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes which is great value compared to the other musicians who typically only have half an hour there.
Aguilera's performing abilities were extremely high-energy and she rarely ever had a breather during her set. This comes after having given birth to her second child, a daughter, Summer Rain Rutler. She maintained stage presence throughout, prompting an effective reaction from the crowd. The stage was used pretty well although it did seem too restrictive although that was immediately overlooked by the shear fun that Christina had on that stage. Her eyes seem to gleam and it was as if she was "home". Aguilera is definitely a forced to be reckoned with whenever she's in her natural element of entertaining the masses. The last tour she did was The Back To Basics Tour back in 2006 and ever since then people have been anticipating Christina's return to the touring world. This is probably the closest we'll get although a worldwide tour is supposedly in the works, according to a source close to Aguilera's team.
The production for Christina's set was moderately high-budget although the costs were provided by Christina herself so everything balanced out in the end. Most of the stage was somewhat expanded in order to fit what was going to be there e.g. full-length band/orchestra, dancing crew, backup singers etc etc. It is Lollapalooza's most ambitious project yet. Nevertheless, many volunteers helped out and that meant Lollapalooza wasn't responsible for much of the compensation since the majority of their revenue comes from advertisements and partnerships with other external companies instead. It took over three days for everything to be ready in time for Argentina's show so it will be interesting to see whether that's improved once the shows in Brazil and Chile start their own preparations.
Christina's fashion style for Argentina's Lollapalooza 2015 was pretty laid-back and causal with necessary flair, however, that's expected to ramp up once she attends the show in Brazil. She didn't have many wardrobe changes (or wardrobe malfunctions, thankfully) due to time restrictions and stage limitations. Having said that, Christina still looked as breathtaking as ever in a cherry-black bodysuit and a cream cardigan. She topped it off with a classic bowler hat, embroidered with intricate white lace. Her hair remained in natural wavy curls and had darker chestnut undertones than usual. She wore lavish black leather boots with tassels near the heel. The boots went up just below her knees and showcased a pair of mint-green leggings. Christina's makeup was also very understated. The silver eyeshadow brought out the hazel flecks in her ocean-blue eyes. Her womanly curves were perfectly hugged in all the right places as the confidence just oozed out.
The choreography was spontaneous in nature, even mirroring a few parts from the Waves' music video which was very abstract itself. She was accompanied by her dancing crew who have been with Aguilera since the early 2000s. They added a lot of depth to the overall performance as Christina teased and flirted with them throughout. Moreover, the highlight was when they engaged with the audience by throwing novelty items (such as inflatable beach balls and hosing each other down with foam) into the virtually dead crowd which really peaked their interest.
It was quite tough to hype up the crowd since they weren't paying attention for the first half of the set. But then things started to kick in and Aguilera eventually won them over in the end. People were in awe of Christina's soaring vocals, Waves was a definite highlight of the entire set. Her solo version of AGBW's Say Something was met with a lot cheers which was due to how big that song was in South America, specifically Argentina where the first Lollapalooza festival of 2015 was held.
Be sure to keep an eye out for Aguilera in the Brazil and Chile shows later this week.

TAYLOR APPEARS ON DWTS IN 'STYLE'
 
Taylor Swift was live tonight on Dancing With The Stars, performing her brand new single ‘Style’ at this week’s results show. The singer-songwriter arrived in Los Angeles this morning after leaving New York City late last night after performing a spectacular set of songs with Justin Bieber for his album release party. The two performed four songs, their two collaborations, ‘Time After Time’ and ’Too Good to Lose’, a new and improved rendition of Bieber’s well known song ‘Just Between Us’, and lastly Justin even let Taylor close out the show with a crowd stopping performance of her current single ‘Style’, him even backing her up with some amazing vocals at the end of the song and during the second verse. The two had amazing chemistry on stage and were seen socializing for a few minutes outside the arena before hugging each other tightly and separating ways. There was no speculation as the two made it clearly visible through their actions that it was all platonic.
“It was fun flying all the way out from Seoul, in South Korea, to see Justin. As soon as I got to the Madison Square Garden where he was performing I was rushed into a dressing room for makeup and wardrobe. I guess he somehow got the news I was coming because as soon as I stepped in he had roses all over the place and my favorite cookies. I swear the dude really knows how to impress a lady. He also left me a pretty nice card telling me how much a good friend I was. Which he didn’t lie about, honestly,” Taylor joked in a small interview she had this morning prior to going on Dancing With The Stars for her show-stopping performance of her third or something Max Martin and Shellback produced hit.
Despite going through a breakup and a grueling promotional schedule the biggest female force in pop music showed up to Dancing With The Stars studios at noon today to get ready and do the usual rehearsal performances that’s involved with performing on the show. There was an exclusive leakage of footage of these rehearsal uploaded to YouTube following the performances which featured Swift directing and give lighting, sound control, order.
At one point, right before Taylor beings singing the first verse, we hear her say something about the instrumental being too loud in her in ears. “Can you guys lower the volume in my ear pieces. It’s basically making me go deaf, no offense.” She gave a soft chuckle after before adjusting her ear pieces one time before the band would start once again to play the song. About a line or two into the first verse Taylor raised a hand, cuing them to stop the track. “Now the microphone isn’t working. I mean I can’t hear myself in my pieces and I heard that people can’t really hear me. Just fix that and we should be good. That was quickly fixed before Taylor was on her way, finishing four rehearsals of the song before she left the studio for dinner, coming back two hours later to ready for her performance.
The singer-songwriter arrived at the studio wearing a cute little skirt and crop top, flashing a smile to the paparazzi who were patiently awaiting the singer both when she arrived and left the studio. Having no body guards when she got out her suburban the singer was a little crowded and mobbed by the group of men. She kept it cool, moving past some of those who got in her way with “excuse mes” and “please move out the way you ****face”s. Once inside, she went to hair and wardrobe where she dolled up accordingly.
Swift introduced to the stage by the hosts, both of which stalled a little as Taylor fell a little behind on delay due to her microphone pack not wanting to attach properly to Swift’s outfit. Eventually, just moments later actually, Taylor and her team got their **** together to quickly start the performance. “Next to the program is a singer-songwriter who can’t just sing and write her own hits but knows how to make them some of the biggest songs in pop history. Everyone welcome GRAMMY award winning and best selling female artist since 2000, Taylor Swift!”
The crowd would go wild as the stage would light up revealing Taylor standing on a replaced version of the dance floor or ballroom floor. Instead the floor appeared to be made out of glass and full of LED lights which glowed with a gorgeous pink color. Taylor would stand a top a staircase in a black crop top and skirt that matched, her height boosted up by a good six inches in a pair of heels that matched her dress.
Taylor stood there for a moment, her hand on her hip as her eyes stared down the camera as the guitar riff looped over and over for a good twenty seconds took the audience by storm. Swift mesmerized viewers and the audience with her gaze before she finally sang the first verse, the lights she was standing on flashing in an almost strobe light manner. “I should just tell you to leave but I know exactly where it leads but I…” Swift breathed sexily out, her hands moving up her legs to tease her skirt up a little before the chorus took over, Swift taking a few steps downward from the top of the staircase to give the audience a little flip of her hair, her eyes set on a camera that seemed to pan one hundred and eighty degrees around Taylor. With a smirk, she moved onto the second verse, moving to a side of the stage she’d not traveled to yet.
The floor under her lit up one color this time, the same hue of pink as she walked around on the illuminated stage, this time interacting with the audience a bit as she reached out to grab a handsome man’s hand and pull him closer, pressing her forehead against his as she sang, “He says what you heard is true but I can’t stop thinking bout you and I, baby I said I’d been there too a few times.”
Taylor would then quickly go down steps where she would break out into a little choreographed number with not only her dancers but some of Dancing With the Stars dancers as well. They joined Swift in the little cute routine that Taylor really was feeling, her moves being precise and sharp as she moved her hips, flipped her hair, and served fierce bitch teas with her hand movements as she’s always done.
The whole stage would glow in numerous colors as Taylor belted out the bridge of the song. “Take me home! Yeah just take home. Oooh just take me home!” Her eyes were closed as she belted out the notes with passion and power her hand stuck in a position to help her maintain the note with ease. The audience cheered as Taylor extended a note about an extra five seconds in the song before she would start belting out the final chorus.
“Cause you got that James Dean daydream look in your eye!” The singer would circle around two dancers who were dancing together before walking or more like strutting back to center stage with her hand on her hip to belt out a few more notes before the stage flashed a few more times before dying down to a soft and dim light pink, giving the correct lighting to make Swift look as gorgeous and lovely as ever.
Taylor’s first ever greatest hits album entitled ‘Yours: The Greatest Hits’ is out next week as her single ‘Style’ in which she performed on the show is available now in stores and digitally on iTunes.

FKA twigs Performs Charity Concert
FKA twigs performed at a charity concert this Tuesday. All proceeds from the concert went to a local school and center for children with Down's Syndrome. The concert took place in Central Park in Manhattan, New York. The event drew nearly 3 thousand supporters who donated a total of one hundred thousand dollars to help the center. All proceeds from the concert helped the children.
When asked as to why FKA twigs did a charity concert instead of doing a concert that would benefit her financially, she responded by saying "Well I'd rather help people that actually need the money than you guys give your money to me. I don't need the money. I am financially stable and I'd prefer if you would donate money to the local centers for children with Down's instead of giving your money to me. Please think outside of your own world and help the world around you and the people who truly need an extra push."
At the concert, FKA twigs performed Feeling of Acrimony acapella and signed albums and took pictures with fans. Afterwards, twigs went to the center where she finger painted with the children and talked with the parents about loving your child unconditionally. FKA twigs On the Today Show
To promote her single Feeling of Acrimony as well as her album Against the Front, FKA twigs has been on a promotional run this week and today she went on the Today Show where she promoted the album and single by performing three separate songs off of the album. The crowd went wild for twigs and overall, the hype has been unreal for twigs to perform. twigs' performance on the Today Show was promoted around the big apple as twigs' Today Show debut. The performance drew nearly 3.6 million viewers to the program.
The only televised song that aired that twigs performed was Feeling of Acrimony. However, she also performed Alternate Universe and Bourgeois. While performing Feeling of Acrimony, she wore a white silk dress and had her hair in long braids. twigs swung her braids and danced as the beat played. When she came in to sing, she stopped moving, closed her eyes, and sang. The crowd went wild and loved it. When the chorus came, the stage lights began flickering. After the performance got over with, twigs told the crowd thank you for coming.
It was revealed at the end of the performance that everyone in the audience of thousands would go home with a copy of Against the Front. The crowd began screaming. twigs then immediately did an album signing for each and every fan out there. The performance was a success in the way that it brought America's attention to twigs.
