I feel like were only young for so young. We spend the majority of our lives adults. By 25 years old were working for life until we die. The US life expectancy is 79 years old. Plus life seems to be going so much faster as an adult than let's say a kid. Do to guys agree with me? Would you want to live till 79 or even longer?

Actually yes. People get old way too fast.

I'd like to die in my 50s. I don't really plan on having kids and I don't want to live to be old.

I don't meant to offend anyone with that either. Especially anyone who might have lost parents who were in their 50s. It's just honestly the age I've always wanted to exit at. If I get to my 50s, I'll probably have a change of heart, unless I'm depressed. But for now, I don't want to grow old.

When I look at all the great albums / artists that I want to get into, I feel like my life is too short to be able to listen to all that in this lifetime. So many music, so little life.

Wait sis, but in this era 50 is still pretty young. I've seen some 50 year with better bodies and health than 20 years old. I doubt you'll feel old or depressed if you keep staying fit as you are now when u are 50.

I tend to agree. Although, living your life is the longest thing you could ever experience in your lifetime.

The like 12 - 17 part of life is super short and can be so fun and amazing. That's why I'm not sure why this generation sits on social media instead of actually experiencing it. 18 and up gets rough especially if you don't know what you want to do in life (but still have basic responsibilities like a phone bill, car insurance, etc).

Tell it sis. I wish I could go back to that age and experience school again (even though I hated it, once you get older you wish you would have done things differently), and just experience things without responsibility. Young people try waaaay too hard to be older, when in actuality, the best years of your life are when you're young.

I always felt the exact same tbh, but 60yrs old. I don't want to live to a point where I lose control of my body and can't do things for myself. There's a limited amount you can do when you're really old, you're just bored at home most of the time.

I want to have kids and get married at some age. Three kids would be pretty cool tbh. I'm only scared of the reactions since gay marriage isn't a thing in my country. I enjoy my youth and all but I'm excited for all the other things that come with getting older. And I want to travel around the world in my 30s.

A mess, there are some really fit and sexy 50 year olds.

At 50, you're free to do whatever you want financially, you'll be respected at every level and you'll be intelligent and mature enough to live out your dreams.
