I don't like Santa Claus either but for the opposite reason. I don't think Christians push Santa. They disapprove of him because he is stealing the spotlight away from the the REAL purpose of celebrating Christmas,which is the birth of Jesus.
Santa is now this fictional Icon , who is pushed so heavily by the Government to make people get into the whole Christmas trap of spending all your damn money on other people for no damn reason.
Christianity doesn't push Santa Claus, (white) society in the US itself does. Better yet, white secular parents. Christianity/Catholics push Jesus/Mary even more so than ever during CHRISTmas. Have you heard the phrase "Jesus is the reason for the season"?
