All of the singles released from 'Teenage Dream' were all so massive so it's hard to decide which is the signature single for the era. I'd like to think it is "Firework". To me that song seems like it was the biggest and it's longevity even til this day is impressive. Do you agree, or nah?

Firework is THE signature single out of all of them released...Teenage Dream could also be seen as the signature song but I dont feel like it is.

in my opinion my fav single was The One That Got Away although it felt incomplete/garage band-ish
it still managed to tug at my heart strings and make me fall in love with its simplistic nature...E.T was wicked too only because it was so different for Katy I suppose.

Hmm. I feel like it's Cali Girls. The video/song was just so massive it really defined that era.

Firework was just a cheesy anthem promoted during the same time as Raise Ur Glass, We R Who We R, etc. doesn't really stand-out to me.

My initial thought was California Girls, but that's because I completely forgot Firework. I don't know what that means so I'll stick with CG anyway.

While Firework is her signature hit, I think California Gurls (and even Teenage Dream) is more representative of the era.

Mentioning Katy, people think of Firework, but mentioning Teenage Dream (era/album), California Gurls is more likely to come up.

I would think Teenage Dream or Wide Awake tbh

I wish it was The One That Got Away; unfortunately 6-7 million people chose Firework instead
