Reply to this post the day Gaga manages to send an album straight to the top of iTunes in over 40 countries having only a banner to advertise it ok ? Oh, and charging $14.99 for it, without even having a lead single nor a full tracklist

Well fine, ARTPOP went #1 in 89 countries with no #1 hit, the media against her, and after she "lost" to Katy Perry.
For comparison sake, Cheek To Cheek stayed #1 WW on iTunes longer than Rebel Heart did.

After checking Kworb, I've also noticed that Rebel Heart album is charting at #4 on the worldwide iTunes chart. Meanwhile, Cheek to Cheek is nowhere to be found on the list, and ARTPOP is at #216. Even Celebration is charting higher than ARTPOP

Apparently they expected it to sell as well as a full album with an unannounced release, no promo, no radio single, no videos, and no push yet whatsoever.

Don't worry about Cheek To Cheek, it outsold 'it' girls' albums Ultraviolence, My Everything and The New Classic in the US and coming towards 1 million WW selling 70k per week.

This is off topic but who cares?
Rebel Heart isn't going to sell 2M WW like ARTPOP
And if the Super Bowl promoted MDNA is any indication, C2C will sell more than Rebel Heart in the US.
I mean it's already hitting 500k this week in just 3 months. That's where MDNA is stuck at lol
It's a lose situation for Madonna when you look at the big picture, not some fan made site.

Actually, it's quite normal for an album to drop on iTunes after a few days of pre-orders. Thing is, the article does not only mention the album, but the songs she released as well. And most particularly the lead single, which already left the Top 100 on iTunes.
You can say it's normal of you want, but it's not. Not for a lead single. That's my opinion, though. And maybe it will gain spots in a few weeks. But I doubt it.

Ultraviolence has sold 1.2m in 6 months.
C2C has sold 812,000 in 3 months.
You do the math sis.
Oh and btw C2C sold 64k WW last week. With Christmas sales it'll surely be near 80k this week.

You can't project normal expectations of a lead single onto Living For Love when its release has been in no way distinct from the other five songs, when it has not been promoted to US radio yet, when it has no video, and when its very announcement as a lead single is mostly reliant upon articles like that from Billboard.
