I have the Samsung Galaxy S5 and I was deleting an album that was made in my phone's "photos" app and by accident deleted the Camera folder. I tried using all of those apps and websites to get it back but I can't connect to them or anything.

Anyone have this problem before and can help me?

iPhones automatically backup all of your photos to iCloud. You should buy one for future reference!

Did you have google photo's or dropbox syncing enabled? I got both with my note 3 so you probably got that with your s5 as well

If you had an iPhone you could just go to the "deleted photos" folder and recover them. Not sure about Samsung though. Is that not one of their many useful features?

iCloud as a service is very secure. The problem was the accounts were "protected" by an easy to guess password. The same mass hacking could have happened to Google/Android if celebs used the platform.

As for your problem, you might be able to recover it. Do it asap so it doesn't get overwritten.

Android automatically backs up photos to Google also.

You can also use Dropbox, and Amazon to back up photos. So yeah iOS isn't the special in this regard.
