Well, he's correct if he's referring to "Just Dance" because that song isn't state-of-the-art or edgy at all. It's actually really safe, predictable, and another Konvict toss-off.
But he really shouldn't be throwing stones for the mere fact that he still writes songs for people half his age, as if he's still in high school. AAR repeat the same formula with every album.

"Just Dance" is bland and I never understood the hype. But the rest of the album is brilliant.
I'm glad he's being honest about it, and I happen to like Lady Gaga. I'm sick and tired of listening to celebs say the nicest things about EVERYONE whether they like them or not. It just comes off as very fake to me.
