Not all Berbers are white, sis. Just look at the Tuaregs. Of course there's racial admixture, especially in the modern day, but for most of history the indigenous populations of North Africa haven't been considered anything other than black.
People try so hard to dissociate North Africa from the rest of the continent. It's sad. North Africans aren't any less African.

Moses never parted the sea.. God did. The movie has God using natural disasters to part it which is very likely

Sis, I'm from North Africa where I lived for almost 20 years, the only black people are from Sahara and they are discriminated as **** when they come up to the cities, other than that, the Arabs are mostly light skined, and the Kabyles (like my familly ) are white, some of them are even blond but most of them look like Turkish people. (I'm speaking for Algeria here, but even in Morocco people aren't black, the situation of the black immigrants there shows that) Just because North Africa is in Africa doesn't mean it's a black area, there are different races in Africa, just like in Asia and other places.
Anyway, why are people talking about Maghreb countries, Egypt isn't one of them, it's irrelevant to the thread. (Egyptians are originally black, but they were invaded by Arabs from the middle east when they came up w Islam -just like they did the other north african countries- and they erased their cultures, and tried to erase their ethnicities)

Who are those censors to decide what viewers should see and/or believe? There isn't such thing as collective belief. Living in the comfort of western countries then telling others what to watch, how white of you

6 pages of this, seriously?
This movie should be ban everywhere. The reason is quite simple, it's a REALLY bad movie. As anything Ridley Scott has been doing in the past couple of years.

Egyptians weren't originally black. Only the ones living in Nuba, which was not originally a part of Egypt, but was invaded and occupied by Egyptians like 5000 years ago, were, and still are. The mummies of Ancient Egyptians and the drawings/inscriptions on the temple walls don't indicate that Ancient Egyptians were black. Their drawings+their mummies have Caucasian features. I'm Egyptian and I live in Egypt, so I know what I'm talking 'bout.

P.S. Don't pretend you care about other religious groups. What do you know about the persecution of Hindus in Kashmir?

What on earth are you talking about. The Pakistanis and Indians are constantly fighting over Kashmir, it isn't one sided and definitely not a persecution.

I'm talking about Kashmiri Pandits being murdered in Jammu & Kashmir [that's the Indian side] and it is persecution. There aren't many Hindus left there because they've moved to other parts of India to escape.

Well yeah. I didn't go in like this, but this is all true. My point is that even when you factor in the attempted erasure of the native culture, you can never truly smudge away the black African roots.
But the Egyptian government didn't even list the white actors as part of the historical inaccuracies, so I dunno why it was brought up...
