There's video.
Quote:
He died 30 minutes after he was shot and instead of calling an ambulance, 2 hours later the police called crowd control. The police didn't allow his mother to comfort her dying son. The dash cams and body cams of the cops were off and instead of using security footage that was near the scene (there were cameras more near) they used footage from far away, which cuts off before anything happens. He was put in an SUV, no ambulance was ever called.

bruh, there's video
Quote:
Several witnesses claim that the police planted a gun at the scene after there were pictures of no gun near the scene and said the police were laughing at people grieving at the scene.
He had to die becaue he fit the description of a suspect, y'all need to open your ****ing eyes.

But there's video tho.

Where do you get your facts?? Please stop defending this criminal just because he happens to be Black.

Video of the entire crime happening (where you can cleary see all actions from all parties) and the aftermath in one continious take? I would like to see that please. You CANNOT see Antonio having a gun in the video.
You all need to stop believing the lies the police are feeding you.
You are failing to think of your own because if you would, you would realize THE ENTIRE SITUATION is sketchy.
Nothing the police are saying or trying to prove aligns with anything that witnesses said.

So your argument is, they edited the video. Okay man Unless you have video evidence of it being a plant job, youre pretty much accusing the police of something that youre doing yourself.

And believe who? You? The media? Get over yourself.

I am still asking for that video you were talking about tho. I wanna see it.
Also:
Quote:
I don’t want to hear “he had a gun.”
I don’t want to hear “he had a troubled past.”
I don’t want to hear “it was the middle of the night.”
I don’t want to hear “it was a bad neighborhood.”
I want to hear “the officer failed to activate his body cam, failed to activate his dash cam, failed to immediately administer medical attention, failed to call for an ambulance, and is therefore directly responsible for this death, and we will be moving for a speedy indictment.

Also, let me quote the some principles of the criminal law for you:
Quote:
Innocent until proven guilty

Suspects and Criminals have rights

Quote:
The police are not judge, jury or executioner
|
MULTIPLE witnesses said that the gun was planted, the police have yet to prove that Antoni was holding a gun. You cannot actually possibly think he had a gun in his hands at this point, there is no factual evidence.
How are you going to ignore what many witnesses said. He was alive for 30 minutes, his mother kept screaming that he was still breathing and that she wanted to go to him.
You need to understand where I'm coming from, the police did wrong. Accept it.

How do you know he was a criminal. You don't have evidence for him being criminally active or having a criminal intent at the point of his death.

Even if you refuse to think this is a race issue, how ON EARTH are you not able to grasp there’s a dangerous abuse of power in terms of police vs. citizen going on?

police officers are trained to disarm people, not shoot them in cold blood and then leave them laying in the street dying for 2 hours, not calling an ambulance. if you say that the police officer was in the right to shoot Antonio Martin, or any of the other people killed in recent months, i hope you pull your head out of your ass and have a heart. if any of these people where white, the police would have either disarmed them, handcuffed them, or tased them before they could do any “damage”. so, STOP SAYING IT’S NOT A RACE ISSUE.

You can't justify a cop killing someone because he allegedly had s gun which wasn't found till hours later.
By executing someone in that situation, you eliminate the right to trial and a chance for truth and reason

Also, kinda funny that in NONE of the camer angles you could see him actually hold a gun. In none of them. There is not even the slightest proof he had a gun. Why would he even want to shoot the officer, why would he have a gun, why is there not even a still image confirming he had a gun from a better angle.
See my post above.

Same. I do wonder why they haven't released better footage, but I presume they're saving that for an investigation.

I'm sorry, i'm honestly not trying to offend anyone, but why didn't he just get on the ground? If I was in this scenario, I would've just got on the ground. I mean, I don't have anything to hide from the cops, so they can search me and question me all they want, it'll make no difference. Seems kind of odd that he wouldn't just cooperate, then leave when it was over. Just my thoughts.

As a black person, it seems like black people will continue to support other blacks even when they're wrong. People need to stop and read the facts instead of blindly supporting.

And the police are derogated in the media yet again.
Honestly, this is the part where I'd generally go "Only in America" -__-

Nope, not really.
Not trying to justify this black teen. He was wrong. But some people are just too naive to see the truth behind these incidents. This video clearly demonstrates the injustice occurring in the US.

Cops, even though they are taught to apprehend, are taught to shoot to kill. This isnt Law and order where they shoot the hand the gun goes flying. Those cops are tryna go home to their families, it's either them of him
From the video footage, he was holding something. Pretty sure it wasnt a sandwich.
Yeah, I'm sure an 18 year old kid was just out there feeding the homeless at that hour.
And even if they left him, it was messed up, but ehh I don't really care. That's what you get when youre bout that life.
