Agnosticism simply refers to lack of knowledge about the (non)-existence of god(s). It doesn't have anything to do with (lack of) belief in god(s). That's atheism and they're separate issues. Agnosticism is an epistemological position, not a theological one. Agnostics can either be theists or atheists. Most atheists are agnostics, and so are most of theists. And most self-declared agnostics are actually weak or passive atheists. There are very few people who can consider themselves gnostic theists or gnostic atheists. If your answer to the question "Do you believe in god(s)?" is anything but yes, then you are an atheist. It doesn't matter whether you know or not if he/they really don't exist. Faith or lack thereof doesn't require knowledge.
