Back in August Beyoncé performed a 17 minute melody of her songs from her hugely successful self-titled album.
Since then has it become an iconic part of pop culture or not?
Is the widely talked about screengrab of her in front of the word 'FEMINIST' enough to keep this performance memorable?
Will it be talked about for years to come?
Is it a truly great performance that will stand the test of time or even become more appreciated in the years ahead?
I'm honestly not sure yet myself. Please keep it cute.
EDIT: I just re-read it and it sorta comes across as shade, it's really not. I loved the performance.
I've been waiting for this thread
EDIT: Since the OP didn't intend to be shady, then I'll answer
I think her standing in front of the capital bolded letters FEMINIST is highly remembered as the member above me said. I'll perhaps give it a few years but I wouldn't really say it's iconic
I'm a Beyoncé stan and I barely remember it.
I've seen loads of articles regarding the FEMINIST section though. And it's been all over social media as well.
The performance itself wasn't disappointing but it was boring and forgettable, and remembered by the GP as such. Plus, the performance barely impacted the charts, which mirrors the GP's true reaction to the medley. I still remember watching it and got excited for the first couple minutes, then wondering when will it end and even taking 2 bathroom breaks in between.
