I hate to disappoint you, but Alexandra is signed to Syco (like Leona). Simon Cowell is going to be heavily involved in Alex's career.
Alex is signed to Epic in America, for the same reason Leona is signed to J Records (Clive Davis label for Sony) in America. Going into partnership with an American label makes it easier for Simon to promote and break his acts in America, in terms of distribution/advertising ect. It also gives them easier access to top American producers and songwriters.
Basically, everything Alex does will be a Syco/Epic co-production. Just like everything Leona does is a Syco/J Records co-production.
Simon and Syco will handle most of the international/UK decisions regarding Alex, like they do with Leona. Epic and J have more say over what Alex and Leona do in America.
My point exactly, why cant they both be successful. At first I didnt think Alex would be .. but now I dont see why not besides that everyone would compare her to Leona.
Their voices are different and their style will probably be different too.. I love both Leona and Alex, so I don't think you should compare any of them
I think her album will definitely have good sales, but like someone said before they need to get some variety on the album if they want it to sell really well.
