I see very negative comments about her voice around the internet and sometimes on ATRL. Could someone explain this to me? I think her voice is great and I don't get the extreme hatred of it.
Her terrible enunciation really bothers me plus her tendency to go sharp during live performances. Other than that, she's very good. Maybe improve on her emotions as well. She's so dry.
I think people just don't really like her incredibly high notes that are in her songs all-the-freaking-time. Those high notes can sound very annoying to some.
Some people like it, some don't. It's a matter of taste.

heady mix - it isn't even and she adds to much head resonance!
She doesn't project well (resonate)..Even as a light-lyric the column of sound produced in most of her chest register is quite pathetic tbh.. the only interesting part of her voice is her head notes and some upper belts F5-G5 really, but only because her voice is so bright and "striking" up there..
her control and agility is commendable also!! she has some nice feats, not gonna lie!!
I think most girls with big voices suffer from poor diction (Leona, Mariah, Christina, etc). I love her voice, but I prefer her lower register much more than her higher.
It's just tha enunciation. Nothing more nothing less.
On One Last Time is honestly sounds like she says "I know i should have farted, at least I'm being honest.
When she's saying "I knew i should have fought it, at least I'm being honest."
